I lived in Istanbul for two and a half years and this is the tastiest food I have eaten during my 75 years of life. It is equaled only by the chicken the Turks barbecued over natural charcoal after spending a day marinating in tubs of yogurt, then seasoned with red pepper and likely other spices. This video is killing me. I’d love to go back for more of that fantastic food. Don’t underestimate the Turks, especially in the kitchen.

@@paupoveda5673 Go to the building that was the American Consulate before the new one was built. You will be on thethe European side. Once there, face the street with the consulate building directly to your back. Cross the street. Turn left on the sidewalk. Walk until you see see an alleyway on your right. It’s not far, perhaps a city block, maybe less. That alleyway is where you turn right. Go into the alleyway and walk until you find the man selling chicken sandwiches. It’s not far. Where he sells there is an adjoining alleyway. Enjoy, enjoy, my friend. I never ate better. Well, maybe. If you turn right into that alleyway and walk down it you may find the chicken restaurant I spoke of. It is on the left side in a basement and the doorway is low. The Americans called it the hole and/or the dungeon. Chem-e-klee and chemic - cease were chicken with and without bones. Enjoy the ez-may and the salad with natural fresh lemon dressing. The man that cooked there was my hero. Good luck. I hope you find these places. May you dine well, live long and prosper.

This is Adana City of Turkey. This cook is a gypsy. Gypsies came to Adana from India. There are no such dishes in Turkish culture!

no matter what dish, it always tastes best at home. I've been to many countries, there are now many copies of classic kebabs, but nowhere does it taste better than in Turkey or pizza in Italy, masala in India AND Pakistan and chinese noodles in China.. At home they cook the original, don't they like the local people imitate.

Kebabs aren't spicy unless you have hot sauce and chillies with it. You would enjoy it
