i have a gap of 3/8" between door and cab so your door seal is elastic enough to let the door close without pushing it to hard?

Not a problem, our door seals fit properly and don't cause the issues common with other vendors seals.

David, I just finished a 1950 door seal. Followed your instructions and it looks great but…. Door won’t close as there seems to be too much rubber. Any thoughts? Thanks

Where did that seal come from? That problem is notorious in other vendors seals, ours do not do that. Your best bet is to slam the doors shut and leave them for a few days and see if the new seal conforms to the cab. Worth a try.

Where do you get the channel for the inside of the truck that holds the inside rubber seal on? What you call the wind race? And when you find it, how do you attach it to the truck? Is it tack welded, glued, ... ?

Do you have a video on 47-53 door adjusting. I cant seem to get my doors to fit right on the bottom. I have a 1/2 inch gap between the rocker and door.

I bought the upper door seal from Brother but cannot find any information on how it goes on the door and it looks nothing like what he's using. This is very frustrating. Does the 1960 c10 even have these seals, because most photos, which are few, don't. The inner seal was easy, and information easy to find. This isn't great for someone like me who isn't an expert and who doesn't know an expert.

i install the door seal in my chevy 1952 in the same way as you does but the door do not close. some people talk about a thinner seal that is 9/16" wide x 1/5" height so do you know something about a thinner seal? if you does can you tell me a part# or where i can order it? thanks

Did you buy your seal from us? Our seals do not have that problem you describe. Many other suppliers carry a different seal that has that issue.

We can't tell you what vendor LMC uses for their weather seals, what dimensions they are specifically, or why they didn't work as expected on your truck. What we can tell you is that ours work, and we know they do because we have installed them ourselves in our KZbin studio. That's part of the reason we maintain a dedicated KZbin studio, so we can test parts to make sure they work before we sell them and so we can provide assistance when you need it.
