Dave, love your videos well produced and very informative. I'm a complete novice and asking if you have videos on removing coil springs and control arms? I'm down to the frame and reluctant to go farther without some instructions. Thank you!!

I have a 1976 K20 with a GVWR of 8400 lbs. How come your instructions say they do not apply to trucks with a GVWR over 8200 lbs. Is this because the geometry of these trucks is different? Or is it because the unwelded-bolted version of the kit is not quite strong enough to drive until you get it welded?
@dennis6325

I was on your website. Read the instructions and saw the kit is not applicable to 3/4 ton trucks with GVW greater than 8200 lbs. Is there something in particular about the geometry that is different or is it a structural concern? Please explain why the kit will not work.

Ні , I really need some help. I have a 1977 Blazer k5 and I replaced the Body Mount Polyurethane Bushings and Radiator Support Bushings from Energy Suspension. And the only thing I need to do to finish is to torque it to spec. Could any of you give me that information please??? I will really appreciate, Thanks

David, what is the protocol for installing the bearing ring onto the spline. My bearing does not seem to want to go back far enough for the castlenut to line up with its hole so you can lock it in. I dont know if it needs to be knocked back with force or if it should slide in by hand naturally.

I bought this rear window with the chrome gasket strip. For anyone considering this window I would highly advise against it. It leaks really bad because it was not sealed properly at the seams, and any water that ends up in the window drain galleys ends up in your truck rather than draining out the drain holes. Further, the slider is poorly designed and it is very hard to slide as it jams up from poor tolerancing. Further, the latch is very poorly designed and will not stay latched with any tiny bit of road vibrations. I'm hoping to return this and figure I'll be out the 125 bucks I spent on having it installed. I'll now be buying the USA1 slider and will update on their quality, but avoid this product unless you want to throw away your money.

Your video of removing and installing the spindles was very helpful. The new king pin kit and the drop axle did not come with instructions. I got my new drop axle installed ok and when I went to install the spindles the king pins did not fit. Your video and lack of instructions of the new drop axle does not inform the customer that the axle has to be reamed for king pins. Now I got to figure how to get the axle reamed for the king pins.

Mine was a little different being an 89 Suburban, but it was still pretty straight forward with your tutorial. The only big difference was the whole top of the box was one piece, so I had to unbolt the vacuum bulb and hammer out a rod that went through the middle of it. Easy stuff, finishing mine up in the morning. Thank you for producing such a quality tutorial!

WHY WHY WHY lower a truck? Why? You are reducing functionality just for looks. Kind of goes completely against a pickup...functionality.

I inherited a 1951 Chevy 3800 firetruck and it's been sitting in storage for 5 or so years because I've had issues with the breaks leaking and eventually just seizing up. Would a conversion like this reduce having to bleed the breaks every time we want to take it for a spin?
