Mr Brotomotive, you mentioned that the new Hector requires some cumbersome touch interactions for adjusting AC and the climate controls which of course is a driving distraction; but what you totally forgot to mention in your review that the car is equipped with a very efficient and effective voice command system that does all the job for you without having to keep your eyes off the road while driving. I've been using this "Hello MG" feature since March 2023 and it works with truly amazing consistency no matter whether you're cruising across the Himalayan Highlands or through the rural hinterlands. Maybe, you need some more time with the vehicle to understand it better and to improve on your observations that may affect it's potential buyers negatively. Regards.

I think the CVT transmission is what’s causing the lag since it is not made for instant acceleration but more relaxed style of driving. A DCT transmission or even a manual transmission would provide a better idea about the capabilities of the car.

Nice review I didn’t like the steering position, it remains quite up even when fully tilted Suspension set up is on hard side I don’t like the laptop size screen, it’s going to be a safety issue, full distraction inside the car Front plastic grill also I don’t like You didn’t spoke about Panaromic sunroof, does it’s size affect AC cooling I am also completely off with it’s such a low mileage, MG hasn’t worked at all in this dept since it’s launch in India even after so much customer feedback, I agree car is heavy and well built but it needs to give a decent mileage, strong hybrid etc kuch toh karna chahiye
