Yes, just like MBA ! Until you realize that one guy's dad who studied engineering was heading an investment fund of a swiss based investment firm in Dubai which they conveniently hidden in every story telling but didn't forget to project the "engineer" tag even though he is not into that for decades. Mom ran a recruitment firm. There are many details but for generic folks just think just like how an MBA is useful in life, this build-up nicely crafted story is also useful.

2:00:45 What Anand is telling about the band...there is a mathematical relation called Weber-Fechner law, basically it says there is a permicable quantity you can increase of substance until there is a change observed in human, which is logarithm in nature. The company that leverages this the most is cadbury. Just like how much you can increase in chocolate size that you feel different, you can reduce as much to observe no change. So when Anand says I can only increase like 200 on a product, and beyond that ppl will not buy, it is governed by Weber-Fechner law.

On returns, I stopped shopping from Myntra because they started charging surcharges on my delivery because my "return percentage" was high. While I agree that I was returning stuff I didn't like, I was also shopping from Myntra precisely because I was allowed this freedom. The "touch and feel" issue they spoke about is very very true, especially in clothing. Also this thing that not everything that fits you necessarily looks good on you. I felt the returns policy allowed me to shop online because of this freedom. Completely get that it might be damaging in terms of cost for the company, but the flip side is no shopping at all, which is what happened to me and a bunch of my friends. Not sure how this issue will be solved but some food for thought.

Nikhil this podcast is like the masterclass on its own, a crash course on its own. I would have paid to watch it. Great stuff, keep it up.

this was epic, though i am not from the business background bu the insight into how a brand is built was incredible! thanks for making it happen😍

Its so fascinating that how do they talk in numbers, always heard of rich talking in numbers, data and facts. Its just like a bunch of friend's talking in numbers at chai ki tapri but its an advance level of that. Jokes aside, That was way too insightful and I am gonna rewatch it for sure. Need more podcasts like this. And the experience was like that I was sitting in the mid of all four of them listening what they are saying.

I have watched this 3 times and have taken away more each time, visualizing how their advise applys to my business, this is a gold mine if you can introspect on the product/ service you want to sell.

Nikhil Sir, I am a student of CSE(btech) for 3 years I used to bust my ass off for learning coding and stuff I got good in it but it never gave me motivation to sit again and do more. I had a interest in business and stuff but it was just an interest,But now by listening to the whole podcast in 1go. I got motivate to do something in business background and I have been doing Case studies, Excel,BI everything to just push start my career in this and yesterday I got a job in a consultancy service as BDM and I think this is this will help me learn the ground reality of business and I have promised myself that I'll start my own brand soon no matter what while giving my 100% and also smartly through data-driven research. Thank You🤞❤
