Awesome video guys. The issue you have with revs not going down when pushing acceleration is probably a vacuum/vacuum advance issue. She does seem to idle a bit high.

Very nice job. I did my 2a a few years ago and I bought an old sa army 2a long wheelbase as a donar for parts. I paid r20k for it and it had only 19k miles on it. Every but and bolt was original and engine gearbox perfect. Even had original solex carb one.

I see Murphy's law works differently in South Africa - if I went for a drive like that in Australia, there'd be a cop pulling me over for a ticket within 5 metres of my driveway.
