Not surprisingly, this pedal also sounds really good into the Broughton Bass Box fuzz and then the Josh Wah. Very juicy synth territory.

Wow, that thing sounds amazing. My favorite synth/octaver sound ever, I'm ordering one of these up as soon as Josh has them back in stock. Shame he doesn't do an octave up too, I'd buy that in a second.

I have a growing number of octavers that do "that one thing" (and a good bit of redundancy) but this is one of those pedals that I REALLY wanna get my hands on. It's exactly the thing I'm looking for when it comes to a blended electric bass / key bass kinda vibe. All dials at noon is great, synth voice solo'd is FABULOUS, and the sub is used more like how other pedals would do the -2 that everyone hates, to really girth it all up. That solo Synth voice, though.... I know it's kinda basic but man it's just got something. My pedalboard literally has like 6 octaves in a row, each doing a different specific kinda octave job.

Zach another excellent video, thanks. At 2.15+ you show the synth tracking down well to a C on the low B string, which is great. However if you had just clean and sub together how low would it track before it starts glitching? Does it also manage to also get that low?

Any chance of uploading a short clip of your favourite combined blend of clean + synth + sub and repeating what you did at 2.15+ but maybe holding each of the notes a touch longer so that we can hear the low tracking and see if it can comfortable get to a low E and below, with the sub, without glitching? If it can, it will be, to my knowledge, the first analog octaver to be able to get down to an open E or lower. I wonder what 'magic' Josh B has put into his pedal to do this?! I believe the MXR M288 'Bass Octave Deluxe' currently holds the crown for analog octaver with the lowest tracking and can get down to a F# on the E string, with most other analog pedals (inlcuding my own current favourite: the COG T16) glitching out at around the G or higher. If the Broughton can go as low as I think you're saying, I'll definitely be looking to get one on my board over on this side of the pond!
