It looks like the ABH one bleeds and is not transfer-proof, it´s also more expensive. I think glossier is a clear win. Even if I buy it from a reseller in my country it would be about the same as ABH but better quality.

I first started using a brow pencil from MILANI COSMETICS 5 years ago. I think they were the first ones to come out with this type of product. They last forever and it only cost 8 to 9 dollars. It does smudge if you sweat to much, the product is ok for the price. But I’m definitely ready to switch after seeing this demonstration with the Glocier one. Thank you Andreea! Kisses!! Interesting enough when I saw the Anastasia brow pens in an actual Sephora, they definitely did not look as watery as your swatches on the hand so I’m not totally sure. I bought the medium brown shade as well and it looks a bit darker and less watery than yours. Interesting... perhaps inconsistencies in different batches? Couldn't have come at a better time, l have been considering a brow pen and didn't know which to buy. I have pencils and a brow palette but they don't stay on all day. I purchased a brow tattoo pen called it by eyebrow magic with a multi tip end it stays on but it's difficult to fill in gaps without getting a block of colour. It was my first purchase to try the concept which l do like so thank you. I am 66 years young and have no eyebrows due to the 70s over plucking. I tried microblading which was not a good choice. I do love your videos ❤️

The KIKO brow pen is a good dupe. Keep it upside down and tap (with lid on) before use..lasts ages too!

Kiko’s has a felt tip instead of bristles, I’ve tried them in store last year and they were frayed, so I never really gave them a try. Does yours keep its shape?

I've been using Glossier, and was interested in trying the ABH pen so that I could purchase it at Sephora, on your hand, I thought Glossier looked better, the lines seemed more defined, but actually on your eyebrows, glossier had a crayon-like fake look, whereas the liquidness of the ABH pen ended up making it look much more natural and subtle. Even if it doesn't last as long, it looks better.

The best ‘dupe’ or even just the best similar product is Ardell Strike a Brow. It makes super think strokes, it is not too liquid (several colours of ABH in your swatches performed pretty badly) and it does not move at all. It costs 10€, and it is available almost everywhere.

My brows are sparse after 1/3 in I think both products seem like they do a fine job.....my eyebrows kind of melt off in this summer heat so for me the Glossier brow flick pen would probably work for me mainly because of the lasting power. However ABH is a very close runner up.....i love the number of colors available as well !! I dont think id be disappointed with either product. .....Thanks Andreea for a great comparison video of these products.!! 🥰❤️

This is a really interesting comparison. Personally, I found the Glossier pen dried out too quickly for me. Also, my brows are very black, and I find the glossier color in black isn't dark enough to show up without layering it. The best brown pen I've found is the Urban Decay double ended brown pen.

@@monajacob93 Please ignore my typo, lol. I use the shade "Black Out" and I would describe it as a soft black. Its almost like a liquid liner, but more transparent, if that makes sense. Hope this helps.

Thanks for this fantastic comparison & find! I got my hands on the Glossier in Paris. If you've ever had permanent eyebrow makeup, it changes the skin on the brow line & that makes the product hard to apply. But it doesn't smudge, lasts long, however on me small, minute pieces clump up & I don't know why. 🤷🏻‍♀️ p.s. So envious of your fantastic eyebrows Ali!

I love how the glossier pen comes out **on a good day** but sometimes go to draw with it and a huge blot of liquid comes out! It leaves a giant spot in my eyebrow and I need to start over because it sets so fast 😕

Great video thanks. Catrice used to make a brow pen, not sure if they still do. Stila has a good one with a very fine tip - they only have 3 shades. Recently I bought one by Revlon which has the brow pen on one side and a brow bone highlighting powder at the other end. The colour Graphite was great for my black brows, but I found it didnt last more than a few weeks unless I bought a dried out one, and I thought the highlighting powder was not worth the effort.

Thank you for this!! As soon as I got the text from ABH (I signed up for updates on sales etc through text and email) for the new pen I ordered immediately. I use the pomade soft brown and medium brown together and I tend to have a heavy hand but I’m trying to work on that. I’m hoping the pen will look more natural after some practice. After watching this tutorial I am excited to try but I also want the Glossier too! I ordered the same colors soft and medium brown. Wish me luck! You’re so beautiful by the way!

The Catrice brow pen is a good go for nearly 3€, and long lasting. Not saying it does the exactly same job but fits the purpose and you do not go to fill bankruptcy after buying it 😜

Agree, the difference of cooler. I need help, I have natural Hazel auburn hair but my eyebrows are granite.... I never know /find the right brow colour.... Matching my hair colour doesn't work ☹️. Loved your tutorial, none of the drawing lines under and over your eyebrows. Any help or advice with a shade for me to try? Hi Andreea, please add some info of how the eyebrow should be, or the skin around the eyebrow: creamy, oily, dry...etc. Because it does matter! Honestly I have glossier brow flick in blonde and brown, and with both of them I struggle to draw some lines. Literally it does only if I press, and the result: it only fill the eyebrow with pigment, but no lines...

While ago I watched a video from Sabrina from Un Jour Un Regard, a salon based in Paris. Her tips mentioned letting small hairs in the brow grow so that they would then be dyed. Hi Marta I would not recommend dying the brows, I have it done at the salon when my hair is colored. It does take the dye well but it doesn’t last too long, it’s a very quick fix. When it’s faded I have to use wax, pomade or one of those flick type pens.

Thank you for this comparison Video of the Brow Pens!Living in germany Glossier is not available here :-( I was using the Stilla Brow Pen but was dissapointed by their brown 'cause it had some red undertone! Glossier doesn't have a shade for redheads if you want a red toned brow so my choice is clear. (It's the UD brow blade, because even ABH's offerings are pretty bloody cool toned. Even if the UD auburn brow blade runs a tiny bit burgundy it works well enough.)

It seems as though Benefit has the most realistic & cool toned brow shades that I have seen, I always have great luck finding my shade with them.

It actually has a totally different tip, it has 3 nibs (for a microbladed effect). Nikkia Joy has a video on it. It looks very interesting.

I’ve always used Milk’s pencil in Pilsner because it’s waxy consistency brushes out well to create lines at the sparse ends of my brows, but might have to try Glossier in black or brown. I’ve found most brow products are too warm colored - wish there more medium cool browns on the market.

i have heard lots of good things about the glossier brow pen but it is indeed not as easy to find however if we compare the prices 18€ vs ABH 26€ i find that for that price (ABH) you can also get the boy brow gel in glossier so i think i'll give it a try :D
