Wow! You've taught me two things: 1) healthy aloe vera can be separated from the sick part with root rot and can be saved by replanting it in the same soil and container it was in. I was under the impression the entire plant, soil, and pot had to be thrown away because it couldn't be saved. 2) If the plant is discolored bringing in inside from direct sunlight will allow the leaves to turn bright green again. I wish I would've seen this months ago but better late than never. Thank you!
