This shoe cleaning is done by Jose. He is 84 years old and has been a shoe shiner in Queretaro City for 20 years.
Jose shoe shine chair is located on the touristic and pedestrian street Francisco I. Madero, right in the center of the City of Querétaro. Jose's stand is a few steps from Neptune Fountain and under a beautiful and tall tree.
My Brown Leather High Heels needed some shine! I took them to Jose who carefully cleaned the leather and applied grease. These heels are really tall but the platform helps me to walk without spraining my ankle hehehe.
I filmed this video last year and for some reason, it was lost in one of my hard drives. The camera is a bit shaky as I was just learning how to film properly. I wanted to document the work of this shoe shiner who keeps working at age of 84. I'm so honoured to get a shoe shine from him.
