you can use any mil-spec AR-15 lower for the BRN-180. As Dan said, KNS Precision has a picatinny adapter for the receiver extension and this is what I used with an Aero M4E1 lower receiver.

I plan to do the exact thing, though I’m considering the Strike industries adapter since it will add a bit more LOP

KNS makes an picatinny adapter for the receiver extension so you can run any stock you want including a folding stock

Absolutely correct. Have had this setup for over a year with a 180 upper. Zero issues.

I'd rather put it on a Fighlite SCR lower since it doesn't require a buffer tube
