I enjoy videos of people with passion. You can see the love in each and everyone. It’s unfortunate the younger generations don’t have the desire or love for them. It would be lovely to see these owners recruit younger people from outside their circle. Might make some significant improvements in many peoples lives.

in the 50s i remember my great father talking about words to drive mules. "GEE" "HAW" (right and left)

I have always loved mules since my first ride on a donkey at Knotts Berry Farm, in So. California in 1957... [I have owned horses, still do. ] i FINALLY was able to get my mule a few years back. A 2 bell mule, in need of a caring home. He was thin and untrusting. After 4 months of care and groceries , Blu was ready to ride. Come to find out, he was much smarter then me and totally took advantage of my kindness. He was impossible to trim, he was belligerent and i found out soon enough... deaf. Sigh. Coming home one day from town, i realized he had somehow managed to poke his eye out of socket, and was in terrible pain. So i did the best thing for him and had my deaf and half blind friend euthanized. He would never had been suitable for a trail mount. I still love mules and would cherish owning one, still. But now nearing 70 years old, I feel i will never have a mule to ride. But I love them, admire them still. There is just something about mules that I find fascinating and i get giddy everytime I see one. Maybe there is a nice mule out there waiting for me!😉

SAD! but dont worry the way the economy is going we are all gonna be riden mules. they dont need gas. they dont need no charge. they aint got no battries. just a little hay and a pet or two is all they need.
