I’m about to be 47 years old and I still remember the words to this song. My grandmother, who was my troop leader, used to sing it with me. She just passed a few years ago. This brought me the biggest smile along with the biggest cry. Thank you so much. 💛

I sang this in Brownies about 60 years ago. Loved Brownies, didn't like being a Girl Scout. The first week I was a Girl Scout, I discovered that they wanted us to embroider tea towels like good little girls instead of letting us run around outdoors playing games. Me? Embroider tea towels? Large bucket of nope there. So I was a Girl Scout dropout.
