Sadly it is, when my son was 2.5 years old he became afraid of eating all food. He went from 70 percentile in weight to 3rd in a matter of months. He went from 34 lbs to 27 lbs. All because he was afraid to eat because he thought it would make him vomit. Thankfully after feeding therapy, Occupational Therapy and a lot of prayer!! He's doing so much better! He is st the 50th percentile for weight still struggles with some foods, but eats enough to be gaining weight and growing. He's small for his age, but he's catching up. ARFID is scary and can strike without much notice. Every stomach she he gets were concerned he won't want to eat again.

For example, if your fear food is eggs, you could also just take vitamins and supplements to help with the recovery. I was really afraid of speaking in front of people and making new friends, it was challenging but my teacher Mrs. Mitchell helped me go through this. I had some “girly girls” in my class, and i just wished i was them. I was too shy and i wore black clothes while they wore bright clothes and had a smile. I ended up becoming friends with them and breaking out of my shell, now im a crazy girl wearing whatever i want! I make new friends all the time and im really extroverted. So thank you mrs mitchell for being such a great teacher. Without her, i would’ve never overcome my fear of public speaking. Kids in my class inspire me everyday by just being confident!

Hannah's story reminded me of something that happened that I think is pertinent to Hannah's story. I had to go to a doctor some years ago complaining about some achs and pains and he suggested a solution that I certainly didn't want to try, but he insisted and so I did. My problem wasn't fear but disgust for his solution. After trying his solution, I found that the solution wasn't as bad as I thought and have been using it since. My point is that there are many things that can keep us from moving forward, and Hannah's story points out the hard things in life do not have to be impossible. Thank you Hannah for being an inspiration to many people. 😊

Love Hannah. She's a sweet and kind young girl. She's so cute. I'm happy that this story ended happily. I wish that reality was like this, having the bully realize what they did was wrong. I've been bullied before for being different too. I kept quiet about it and even when a teacher did catch the bully harassing me, it made things worse. It's just sad that life doesn't work in the way these videos work.
