BROWNING MAXUS 2 - Adjusting Drop and Cast

Stacking the bead is preferred by many sporting shooters myself included. I re shimmed my A400 so the beads stack before I ever shot the gun. I partially already knew I was going to need a reshim after adjusting the comb on my Beretta 694 O/U which shot low for me. I shoot the A400 very well after reshimming it. But of course to each their own, glad you guys are dialing it in!

Great tips! Another tip I tried was to tape a straw on top of the rib closer towards your eye. When you shoulder your gun, and look down the rib, you should have a clear view of your bead. It works well. I'll be waiting for the pattern testd! Thanks.

The Browning Maxus 2 with a 26 inch barrel is my pick. As a package it is the premier gas operated shotgun now. At just 7 pounds and able to handle 3.5 inch shells there is no better all around shotgun on the market.

Nice video! I ended up using the 3R/L so the fiber optic bead sits just above the mid bead. Just got a Bone Collector Carlson choke (.665) and some Turkey Loads (Longbeard XR) on the way. A pattern video comparing the stock chokes to aftermarket with different ammo types would be cool!!

Curious if you guys know anyone with an original Maxus. I'd be interested in seeing if the Maxus II stock fits a first Gen. That would be an upgrade I'd be willing to do, but don't feel like spending a few hundred bucks to find out they aren't compatible.

I'd be interested to see what's compatible/ swappable between the two. Does the raised rib barrel of the 2 fit and line up with the 1's receiver. Are the stocks interchangeable. Can you buy a Maxus 2 bolt handle and put it on a 1.

You didn’t say which way the number is supposed to face to the stock or to the end of the barrel so you’re totally wrong and you’re misleading everybody
