maxus 1 is definitive so easy to tell apart from any other shotgun the new one well it just lookslike every other shotgun outthere performance wise i'd say there's nothing in it between old and new i'll be keeping my one .

If the steel rod with the return spring in the butt of the stock is cera-koted and the spring is too or made of stainless steel I could spring for a 26 inch Maxus II 3.5 inch chambered 12 gauge model.
