So a 725 Sporting at roughly $4500 and they through some decent wood and engraving at it and charge an additional 5k. Well hey at least it’s in a decent case unlike the cardboard box they do graciously give us with the standard 725. What a huge disappointment

Finally, a 725 sporting non-ported in North America! (They were available in Europe since forever! Not sure what marketing genius told Browning that North America wants only ported barrels on all sporting guns... )

I am not pro or against it, but I am curious why you don't like porting and I see a lot of shooters porting their barrels on their Krieghoffs and high end Perazzis!!!🤷‍♂️

Browning should manufacture this specific model for Trap & Skeet as well. Not a fan of the forend but the finish on the receiver is nice. Listen, at just under $10k the excuses will end and expectations will rise to Kolar, Perazzi and Kolar levels. Browning will now be forced to fine tune their triggers and offer a multitude of stocks and forends.

As I said, good to see they're bringing non-ported 725 sporting models in 30" and 32" barrels. However, I think an adjustable comb would've been significantly more of a selling point for such an expensive piece... An adjustable comb would be way more useful than the engraving - which adds to the price, without adding to the value. If you have to spend an other few thousand dollars on a custom stock, to make the gun fit you properly ...you're already in Krieghoff and Perazzi price range... and Browning is nowhere near that league...

Do Kreighoff and Perazzi guns shoot straighter? Is the steel in them stronger? Do they make you a champion with each purchase? No of course not. They are all quality manufactures. But for what its worth, Browning Arms (who by the way invented the O/U shotgun) was building fine quality shotguns long before either company mentioned even existed.

why non ported? and where is the adjustable comb? for that money not a good sale, nope! I have one at reliable sporting in vancouver and its far far a better value and looks, a grade 4.3 dark walnut , ported and a comb for $4300, so really this is not a good deal at all.

Did they fix the chronic 725 bottom barrel fail to fire for that money?

Seriously, my 725 Sporting is 2 weeks old and about 2 flats through it it’s failed to fire the bottom barrel at least a dozen times. I wasn’t aware this has been an issue with this model.

I have had two in the past. The only way that will happen is if you spray a cleaner like clp on the firing pins in the action while cleaning. Mine never misfired or failed to fire. It's rock solid.

Nice engraving don’t bust clays and for that price you can get a Blaser with a adjustable comb. Firing pins in the 725 are trash !!!

That gun is a 1/2 a pound too light not at all a gun for shooting and the wood looked terrible on the forend

Its not Turkish walnut. Browning uses American Black Walnut on all Citori and Citori 725 models. Only grade variea. This is unfortunate because American walnut does not take a bend as well as their European walnut counterparts. I also disagree on your opinion of the weight. 7.8lbs is very light for a Clay gun and thats due to the low profile receiver. Most 725s come with ported barrels to counteract the felt recoil and barrel rise from heavy clay shooting situations, but not this one.. another unfortunate flaw on this shotgun . It does have beautiful engraving though. I have watched several of your videos. You ALWAYS call it turkish walnut. IT'S AMERICAN BLACK WALNIT!!! Get it straight. You clearly have no idea about the product you sell.
