I love whip fishing and once used to take a young lad fishing with a Browning 4m carbon whip. He did well fishing the Thames so I set him a challenge to catch 100 fish in 3 hours from a lake. He caught 176 and I've just worked it out that it's so close to what Bob just said about catching 60 fish an hour, or one a minute. I still have the photographs. They were all small rudd, roach, and tench. I fish the whip whenever I can now.

Love whip fishing ,it's the only way I fish now since having a new elbow joint ,this is exspensive but worth it ,it's better than the daiwa air but not as strong
