I love my B525SL
@davejarvis527910 ай бұрын
Purchased mine from Ian coley last year,came with barrel and stock weights, I then swapped out the midas chokes for teague chokes,added stock weights, now balances beautifully

It’s all in the eye of the beholder but any shade of laminate is better than a lot of the grade one wood I see and it seems to have some advantages in terms of felt recoil on account of its weight and rigidity plus it’s a safer bet in wet weather. In the top end of the air gunning world laminates stocks are usually more expensive. For me a top of the range game gun with high spec walnut beats everything ( if I could afford it ) but for a clay buster, next time, I’ll be actively looking for a laminate. Keep the reviews coming, you’ve got a straight forward, no nonsense approach to conveying the information I’m looking for.👍

I have a 525SL and you're correct. Grim weather doesn't bother it , pieces of clay hitting it doesn't do much and being a heavier gun it shoots very softly. Only thing I would say is a 9lb gun can be a bit much for slightly built shooters (like my wife)

Where does it balance? What barrel lengths are available? And how much does it cost? Really liked the look of this gun and the honest review.

It can be balanced on the hinge pin thanks to the addition of counter weights that can be bought separately, they are available in 30” and 32". You can give us a call or email about anything else, one of the team would be more than happy to help - linktr.ee/premierguns.doveridge 😊

I have one of these and it serves me well. I dropped a few washers on the adjustable comb when I raised it which has brought the balance back to bang on the hinge pin. No need for an overpriced weight kit which I feel should have been included at purchase.

The XS laminate doesnt come with the weights as it is not a (PRO) but browning left the option for people to still be able to weight the gun if they wished, which we think was a good idea. This also kept the cost down 😊

@PremierGunsDoveridge I agree with your points about keeping cost down. However, just noting that you do have it listed as a Pro in the video title and call it a Pro a few times in the video

Good review. You mentioned that the new ones are coming. Did you mean new ultra xs models? Thanks.
@PremierGunsDoveridge10 ай бұрын
Thank you! George didn’t mean there are new models, he meant new stock as there has been a slight price increase across the whole browning range 🙂
