Yep. As a Chiefs fan, when these teams play I have mad respect for this NEW Browns organization. Baker has improved tremendously, and Stefanski should be seen as one of the best play callers in the league. They're on the way to a division win and hopefully more. I've said this many times, but I wouldn't want any other QB leading my squad! Not saying he's the best but he was the right man for the job. To think of all he's had to deal with and he's still finding a way to get things done in Cleveland that haven't been done in decades. Four head coaches in four years is ridiculous. First time he's had the same one to start a season. He looked great all game and I don't blame him one bit for the int. He was in great command of the offense and dropping dimes all day. He had a guy hit him around his ankles from behind as he was trying to throw the ball away. He's grown so much as our leader it's not even funny. He's poised for a big year and so r the Browns. Not worried one bit and idk the last time I ever said that after a loss lol. Or ever actually about this team in thirty plus. I new the defense was gonna take a few to gel it's all new guys that haven't played together. If we still look like that after week four I'm going be calling for his head lol

This is what sets Baker apart ... He is a great QB, never blames others, but most important; his team follows him because he is a great leader and knows how to motivate & inspire. John Dorsey said he was like a Pied Piper and his teamates would follow him anywhere & respected him @OU. He ALWAYS defended them& had their back. The Browns will go far & he will bring out the best in these young guys coming on board. Love that he blocked for Swartz; he wanted him to feel the taste of victory in the moment & know his QB has his back. That was a risk with Baker blocking tho. Also he always speaks highly of Jarvis & gives him credit for being a leader of this team, and credits all the QBs that have helped him going back to Tyrod when he was a rookie. I don't have a crystal ball with dates, but just know that the Browns are on their way up. GO BROWNIES! 😊🍷

Baker made football exciting; you never knew where the ball was going & such passion & support for his teammates. He made plays when it seemed impossible ... that Texas gunslinger mentality. It wasn't boring & fun to watch especially his reactions after touchdowns; TX-OK games were legendary. Won the Heisman, the Manning, & the Draft and we shared TX/OK roots. I became a strong advocate with the unfair negative criticism he encountered; always support the deserving underdog (Colin was relentless going back to college days). When drafted by the Browns, Dad & I followed. Typed out game schedules and roster to help my elderly Dad keep up with the game & I learned a lot as the Browns rebuilt. They were underdogs, just like Baker. Exactly. And you've got instigators like Colin Cowherd saying Derek Carr handled himself better in crunch time than Baker. This is absurd. Yes, there was the bad pick. But he can't carry the ball for Chubb or the punter. Second, the Chiefs are a much tougher opponent than the Ravens. Better quarterback, better defense, better O line. Baker played about as well as he could have. The key for this team is to not take a moral victory. They didn't get it done, and they're holding themselves accountable.

@@Midnight_Freefall Derek Carr LOL. The same Derek Carr that had the ball inside the two yard line at the end of the fourth quarter and threw an interception. Lamar Jackson fumbled twice and gift wrapped the game for them. Car had a good game and he's a good quarterback I'm not taking anything away from him but his passing numbers are always going to look impressive because he throws the ball 50 times game because they're usually always behind. Look what Baker did with only 28 attempts. Completed 75% of his passes for over 320 yd. I know everybody wants to talk about the fact that he didn't have a touchdown we had the ball inside the five yard line three or four times with the best running game in football sometimes it's going to be like that but if we do anything but run the ball in that situation I would literally lose my mind and so what everybody else if something negative happened. People actually use the fact that our running game is so good against him and it's a joke. They talk about how we run play action as if it's a knock on what Baker can or can't do.
