First time I ever picked up ranked I’ve plying the game maybe a year and a half now and ranked the last 7 months. Got to bronze 1 and dropped down to bronze 4 so fast bc of teammates flaming, making me play worse, leading to more flaming and a chain reaction. I started doing mute all, within a week I got into promos for first time swept through them and hit silver. Shit is so easy to do and I’m still practically a newbie to the game and it made me 10x better

@@thomastan6641 That's just not true at all. I play mid in d2 EUW and I usually mute all at the start of the game. You don't need pings at all to set up ganks, just watch the mini map. @guillaumeroussel8633
@guillaumeroussel8633 2 жыл бұрын
@@idontknowagoodname5960 Riot could tie League of Legends accounts to the national ID of a player. For instance, you would need to give a scan of your passeport to create an account or to keep using your actual one. It might sound excessive but for things like creating an account in an online broker or betting website you need to do so. Also, I've been already asked by gaming companies to send my ID to confirm that I was the owner of an account so I think they can legally do it. You would still be able to create several accounts but they would all share sanctions. If you are chat disabled on one, it goes to the other accounts. Same thing for AFK low priority queue. Sanctions would progress on all accounts rather than one. If you are chat restricted with account one and keep being toxic with account 2 you will directly get a ban. If you keep refusing to act like a decent human being, you will end up getting perma banned and you will never be able to create another account since your ID would be blacklisted by Riot. It would also remove problems like account stealing and accounts farmed by bots in order to be sold. Alternatively, they could go for a less radical solution and implement the low priority queue from Dota 2 which from what I've read, is quite effective.

@@guillaumeroussel8633 I actually had to prove my identity to play a game aswell once, so its likely to be legal, at least in my country. I definitly agree with you, this would solve a lot of problems. Even the fact that you would be playing under your true identity (no fake names or emails in accounts details) would probably slow down the incredible amount of toxicity that game delivers, because who wants to be an asshole when you can be easily exposed and punished under your real name ? Not a lot of people compared to how many of them are flaming out there. Also i think if they ever ask for an ID to create an account they should limit the number of accounts linked to this ID to ONE, and only one... It would solve the smurf issues probably

Love your positivity and clear thinking - not getting too annoyed and not letting your teammates determine how you play. Also good advice as a laner to help me not take my frustrations out on junglers when I misplay or don't have map awareness.

This is such an inspiring topic. Most players don't ever master more than just 1 role, and it gets to the extent where they can only see things from the perspective of their 1 role. At least that's how I see it. I know that "jg gap" mentality didn't sprout up until I was a few years into playing. But the game has been changed so much to the point where you do need teammates to win for the most part. It just really sucks that people don't take responsibility for their play in lanes. The game also made the emphasis on early game and winning lane so stressful that its amazing that players don't get tired of face rolling for kills and try to learn how to play the game safe.

I started as a Top Main, then I played ADC and Mid for the next couple of years, took a long break, got back into the game when I learned my favorite Champion is now a Jungler so I decided fudge it I'm gonna learn the roll and welp, it's basically like every other roll, you have to play your game and hope that the rest plays theirs well. Back when I was an ADC I wasn't relying on a Jungler to get me kills and win my lane, I wasn't even relying on my support and nobody in this game should rely on some1 else to win their lane or roll. Do you own chores first successfully and then - even if your teammates lose you the game, you at least know deep down that you did your job well. Broxah showing us how it's done! wp!

I also find it insane how the two diamond players in the team are flaming the only grandmaster in the game. And even if they haven't reached their peak elo yet, the fact that he is higher up before them should be a pretty good indicator that he's doing something right........

XD Reminds me of my response to a Katarina since I kept having to go Mid to keep her off my Yone. Kat: Trundle go get a job loser. Me: I do have one, it's called babysitting this Yone. The pay is shit, the hours suck, and the boss is inept.

I know I suck at jungle so as a loaner I try to set it up that my jungler has gank opportunities. If my jungler gets ahead then my jungler helps my lane and it helps us both

Jungle seems kinda similar to mid at least in my opinion. I usually play scaling champs such as Kassadin and Vlad and I very often get flamed by my teammates because of roams and such

I honestly am (although way less now) pretty toxic, it's something this game brings out of me, i'm currently going for the "forcing kindness" approach and notice myself slowly kind of believing it? if that makes sense, which while i get a bit tilted, i generally shift to positivity quite fast. Though i never feel the need to outright int or make the game as horrible as possible for others. It's nice to see the protentional perspective of another player dealing with toxicity on the daily.

That's a great approach my friend! Being as positive as you can not only improves your team's gameplay, but you could also find some good teammates or friends to stick With! I did my finds doing so in the past and I really appreciate meeting the people that I still play with to this day. Gotta say, sometimes it gets hard to get along with your team, and I feel less responsive or positive when things get heated... When you've been dealing with very common and repetitive behaviours you kind of give up trying to cheer things up and just try to do your own thing while you ignore their rants. Anyway, it's kind of the opposite case from yours, since I tend to focus more on myself now rather than looking up for others, but still appreciating good minded players and having a good time with them.

I am actually very glad I have enough self reflection to know that whatever bad happens to me, was my mistake. I am Gold, and looking at Challengers climbing the ranks, nearly every game below plat is winnable, so I just mute all and play on my own.

It feels freaking weird that a pro player. Someone who is part of the best players in the WORLD. Is saying that this game is toxic and there's nothing you can do about it. It's true. We can't. But riot sure fucking can. Will they though? Apparently not.

I don't really mute people because it helps with making calls and coordinating ganks and teamfights, but sometimes u get people who are way too toxic so it is necessary From my experience, it is usually bot laners who are the most toxic Top laners are used to suffering so they just take it stoically
