Fun fact; dispenser is now an S tier subsume for her assimilate build. Not only does it give infinite energy sustain for absorb but it also returns your ability to sprint AND crouch while it's active, because reasons. Combine this with the fact that she can now jump and you can bullet jump around. Add enough sprint speed and you can run at a normal pace. So yeah, basically, use dispenser, become Thanos.

One important thing to note with her 4 augment, is that your speed penalty goes away if you steal overguard from enemies, but your 4 doesn't protect that overguard, so it *can* be taken away by damage.

Maybe you somehow misinterpreted me saying "speed penalty goes away" into it unlocking bullet jumps on her; however I never said such a thing. I said speed penalty and I meant it, you know, the 50% unscalable movement speed you're locked into that the very similar Infiltrate augment lets you scale via strength? That penalty. And that goes away when you strip overguard. That has been and continues to be true.

Maybe worth considering: I’ve found some success on running two Tau Forged red shards for strength, so her builds can hit that 100% strip on her second ability with no mod slots used on strength. I used two tau yellows for parkour as well, and one more for casting speed which helps for spamming her third ability. Really enjoy her rework, I agree she’s not gamebreaking but she feels fun to play now, solid choice for newer players for the easy survivability

Of note, I think Nyx is going to be so much better at Void Cascade now since they removed that 8 energy per 1000 damage taken bs. Some frames might objectively be "better" at it, but as long as you have decent weapons, being able to just not die and having a really easy to use armor strip is just so comfortable. My personal go-to for it now.

I liked the quick rundown of her abilities at the start - usually people look at a build for a frame they either haven't played in a while or are new to, so this is very useful, especially with the way things are - or rather aren't - explained in Warframe. You can use dispensary and gain full movement in her 4. Also she is insane at archon defense missions as you can just hug the defense target and they will never go down (super useful if your clan isn’t on and you have to go public matchmaking) also she is completely insane at void cascade and if you combine that with the AOE kitgun, you can’t be knocked down, also operator can void sling and jump back into assimilate if you don’t have dispensary subsumed. I main Nyx. Never stopped loving her since way back in the day, good to see a spotlight on her again.

Couple of things you forgot to mention in the video about her 4: - You also get a % damage buff from all the absorbed damage when you release your 4, at a moddable duration.(It has a cap based on powerstrength I think?) - Once your 4 ends you get an additional invulnerability timer of maximum 6 seconds.(also based on damage absorbed I believe, but could be how long you kept the ability up too)

I've been having fun with either Silence, to make sure Violence can't knock me out of my 4, or Frenzy (Equinox subsume + augment). The Equinox subsume speeds up enemies, gives them damage vulnerability, and spreads upon death. Between that and Chaos, her 4 is a passable nuke ability with good range and duration.

Hi! Nyx main here (Yes we exist.. I think.. I know I do..) I highly recommend using the augment for Psychic Bolts. It is an outstanding stun and also procs radiation enabling her passive to kick in. Relying on that ability frees up the slot for Chaos and it also provides enough survivability to make Assimilate feel unnecessary aswell. Personally I opted for Gloom to also provide slowing down and regeration instead of Assimilate, pairing it with Chaos to create the ultimate CC, but really, anything works as long as you prioritize her 2nd ability usage. The bolts don't care about range at all so you have a stat you suddenly don't really care about and then efficiency isn't important either since you don't really need to recast them much due to their chaining (and spreading) property. That allows you to put everything into duration and strength (or use more augments if you want I guess?) I'd highly recommend the "Smite" ability with it's augment. I also highly recommend Radiation Status damage on your weapons, especially weapons like (Tenet) Arca Plasmor which have Radiation innately built into the weapon - they will allow Nyx to benefit from her passive even without the use of any abilities!

There are dozens of us! Haha. I did the same too, now I'm relying on Overguard from the augment, and keeping 4 as an oh shit button or if I want to just turn my brain all the way off. I still kept her 3 though, mostly for nostalgia, and because there isn't really much I need to subsume on her. I also swapped out Dispensary to go back to her normal 1. There really isn't anything I desperately need on her, she does just fine.

Dude on steel path hex bounties i just had tons of overgaurd & felt no need to use assimilate. I was status immune & had amazing damage thanks to pasive & 4 buff. Shes a different frame dude, so strong. & relatively effortlessly. I couldn't be happier. She was already my 5th most played. Now i see her being 3rd or 2nd most.

Personally that's how I see her. Assimilate makes her too slow on normal missions (exterminate/capture) even with 2 tau parkour so the stolen stats from her 2 are more than enough, but missions where enemies scale hard and fast (SP Cascade) make great use of being nigh invincible with assimilate.

Im not sure if anyone has mentioned it down in the comments so im apologizing if its been stated before. You can proc Arcane Avenger while in her 4th, so its a free 45% Crit hit on weapons and its not just sentinels that can the damage invulnerability from her 4th, the Hounds from the Sister Liches also get it too, So using the Seismic Bond on a hound to get that 30% efficiency also helps manage energy a bit if needed.

Something worth noting: Nautilus' cordon can yoink Nullifiers towards you and turn off your 4... keep that in mind if you're ever running Corpus/Corrupted missions. Caught me off guard when levelling on ESO.

Correction: As of January 2025, The only thing shown here that benefits from "Summon/Companion" damage is your Companion. No Mind Control target. No Specters. No on-Call Crew. It's dumb. For those of us that want to play the classic "Necromancer" minion-spam playstyle, there really aren't many options... You have Nekros with shadows and Caliban. Subsume Inaros' Dessication and use the augment, since it ACTUALLY set's the cap on how many cats you can have to 5x instead of "Adding 2". And with the augment the cats now spread Inaros' scarab swarm, even though you don't have it. With good enemy density, you only ned to throw sand and finisher a single enemy to keep 5x cats up for the whole mission if you have duration in your build.

Hey Brozime, could you maybe do a video about the weirder, less obvious mechanics and such that are good to know? I'm an MR30 with like 1200 hours, so I'm basically a noob in Warframe time, and I don't really understand or even know of certain, more niche mechanics. The "attenuation DR" you mentioned, for example. I don't really know what it does or for which enemies this is in effect. Things like that, explained in detail, not just in passing, in a dedicated video would be fantastic to watch and go back to every now and then.

There's a long ass wiki page for it, but damage attentuation basically takes your fire rate and damage, puts ot through a formula, and reduces the damage you do such that you can't kill the enemy too fast. Generally higher fire rate weapons are better vs attenuated enemies, also faction mod layer damage bonuses are not reduced. Basically newer special boss enemies are given attenuation, such as the fragmented ones or the oni from the koumei mission.

Here's a lesser known mechanic I can share. Most objectives in this game only trigger after an NPC goes through their dialogue. If you are the host of the game, you can quickly open and close Nightwave during dialogue to save 10 or so seconds and get directly into the next part of your mission/bounty/ect Another time saver is; when you are in the extraction animation, if you repeatedly tap spacebar (or your jump button equivalent for console), you can skip the 11 second timer and go straight to your designated headquarters

Worth testing- I believe the patch notes or ability description or something I'd read mentions that your MC target is inclined to attack enemies you're aiming at. Maybe test that? They really need to give her an Augment to Mind Control more than 1 enemy, in the quest she clearly controls more than 1, maybe Mind Control the target and who ever is effected by her Psychic Bolts, at bare minimum it would be 3 targets and with the Psychic Bolts Augment up to 6, it'll give her some synergy. As for "balance", you would have to sacrifice a mod slot or two for the Augments, it's a pretty big downside, so I think there's no reason to lower any percentages, they will be lowered naturally by sacrificing mods.

With the changes with enemy armor scaling cap...but with enemy damage scaling indefinitely, 'friendly fire' is not of the board. And now that she has rad procs in caos, increasing friendly fire damage, it becomes even better. She has armor/overguard strip on her kit already...I'm curious about subsumed equinox rage to haste mobs AND debuffing them even more with damage vulnerability.

Not much has changed compared to the old build. Just slap on good ol' Praedos for that extra parkour velocity. Your secondary can melt anything with her new passive. I have been liking the Atomos incarnon (beam weapon, kind of aoe). For your main, anything goes. I prefer the Braton incarnon for fun, since her 4 still counts as a channeled ability, which will buff its damage considerably. Walk around invulnerable and kill stuff, basically.

It's a shame that Assimilate is still like the best survivability for her. It makes the warframe so much more boring that like 90% of the mission you're just stuck with half your mobility. I'm probably going to not be running it, myself, but I understand the reasoning.

All right, I will be honest I find ABSOLUTELY no difference between her updated and non updated forms. She was always a god and just like every warframe she needs to be built correctly. So yeah rip armor and decimate.

2:18 - AznvasionPlays mentioned Parkour shards do not change her moving speed at all. Who is right between you two? Also, if you want to make Eleanor move faster, you can equip a mod called "Amalgam Serration" on her Primary which increases your natural speed, and ALSO equip Tenet Grigori for a melee. The Grigori has a passive which allows you to switch-teleport to your target from afar, meaning you can play Ash and teleport around if you don't feel like running.

I'd trust Brozime on this. He deep dives this game like not tomorrow. Parkour Shards increase you Parkour Velocity so Rolling Speed + Distance and Jumping Distance are increased. Amalgam Serration only increases Sprint Speed, you should always be sprinting but sometimes game turns it off.

Went into the Sim to test a no parkour mod vs parkour mod build. It does indeed affect your rolling during 4. So its more of a question if its worth the mod/shard space for people

Proven & easily tested fact that +parkour velocity gives you massive rolling distance. Same reason why a bunch of people use them with Mesa's waltz, bc moving is a pain and can't be arsed to recast her 4.

@@Lord_Phoenix95 I'm still on the fence about this. Do you know AznvasionsPlays? Brozime is good, but he is not so deeply involved with calculations and math to decode the game as that other guy is. Trust me on this, and watch a few of his videos. His latest guide about Nyx mentions Parkour shards should not be added here, but instead, he invests in mods giving her sprint speed instead. So I guess I'm gonna need to do some testing myself.

@@Sevrak_ You can't test a parkour run inside a tiny room such as the simulator, c'mon now, help us out here. XD You need to go to Cetus or Orb Vallis to run freely and check it out. I'm still on the fence about this topic, so I too will need to do some testings before deciding, because AznvasionsPlays is really detailed about his numbers and math applied to WF.

I don't understand why DE didn't completely replace her 4? Who wants to crawl around at the speed of slow in 2024 and do completely insignificant amounts of damage? I like using the entire kit of warframe, and replacing a useless ability with a helminth ability feels like a hack fix to me. I consider this rework an improvement for sure, but she is not *there* yet for me.

Like I know that Assimilate is extremely strong, but I hate it. And don’t think it’s necessary anymore with physic bolts being able to give u thousands of armor,overguard and slow u to shield gate (depending on enemy faction ) it’s passifying bolts that I think is the must have. Armor stripping while giving your self dr and crit chance is way to good to pass up and I still get to move around like normal
