I hear it but it’s just business logic 101: Company invest in product (artist - Record deal). Company wants a return in profit on their investment. Company therefore pays money to market said product to the public via media outlets. It’s funny when I hear the whole industry plant thing. Bouncer literally did this with DigDat, he paid and was helped by social media platforms & friends in the industry to market digdat to the masses & boom he had a hit. (Yes DigDat makes good music, but that was a very sharp trajectory similar to that of said industry plants)

Everything bro said about the industry plants in uk music right now is spot on but saying Loski is a quality song maker just fucked up everything he just said haha

He has quality songs, but they defo aren’t all that way
@Monke_boi13 Жыл бұрын
@@ItzTerribleTtrue he’s done Afro beats and pain tunes before even digga d is versatile but then again they’re signed to labels who push out drill because they know it’s what is poppin

I think this guy was naive to the music industry and thought it was just completely unorganised and he could just make music and it would magically be heard by millions of people

You’re just describing what labels are meant to do. That’s just promoting an artist 😭😭😭 Doesn’t make someone an industry plant because their label helped blow them up. 90% of the time the person had to grind to get noticed by the label, once they’ve been signed then yeah obviously they blow them up
