The Maw really impresses me, I kind of want one. It just has the grindiest sound. Runner up would be the TC Electronic, but maybe I just have a soft spot for that one. Either way those are my two favorites for sure.

I have found running my HM-2’s into a Precision Drive with the Attack button engaged 2 clicks is quite good.

Call me crazy, but I actually enjoy running a Joyo Uzi into an Eyemaster, with both pedals set with the gain at 0 and the volume all the way up, and then that runs into a Turbo Rat clone with the gain at 9 o'clock and the volume at 3 o'clock. It just sounds like chaotic evil incarnate, and the Uzi into the Turbo Rat with the Eyemaster bypassed has a very BE-OD or Scary Mod Modded Plexi kind of sound if you run it into a power amp/cab or IR loader.

I think I'd rather have the Hell Melter; gate, blend and different gain options sure are handy. (I like the idea of having a one knob pedal but...)

Aib smashes this form factor, but i was also surprised by the Rutheberg this time round as i didn't like it much in the first playthrough. Perhaps it got a bit of benefit from the real amp vs axefx :) As for other one knobz, there is the D.I.D Doomsaw. I can think of a few others ,but they all have internal trimpots
