Dude the Waza Craft HM2 is happening and I honestly can't wait for your review. Ola Englund already did a review today but I trust you most to review the shit out of it. Hails, as always.

Nice. Before I forget, the Ibanez PhatHed Tone Lok series pedal does a pretty decent chain saw when blended with a hot amp.

I've been curious about your thoughts on the MXR EVH 5150 Overdrive. It has become a favorite of mine as I run *very* few pedals in my signal chain myself, and it has consistently been a go-to for me for its clarity (even with the gain boost engaged) as well as its onboard gate. EDIT: I know that the price point is a turnoff for other broke musicians (I got mine at an insanely good price), but I figured that for basically two and a half pedals in one stompbox it is worth pulling the trigger on, especially if you can catch it on sale.

On the list, but takes time to get those pedals for good prices 🙃

@@DomeNightbearer Ha! 😆😆 I thought about that as soon as I hit the post button, and edited my comment to say almost exactly that! 🤣🤣

It's one of the best amp-in-a-box pedals out there imo. The Friedman BE-OD Deluxe (and original BE-OD) and the TC Electronics Fangs are also at the top of the list. edit: and if you count it, the chainsaw itself oc.
@DomeNightbearer3 жыл бұрын
The Friedman is indeed awesome, especially the deluxe! And you shouldn't underestimate the MT-2 😉

@@DomeNightbearer I still have an OG Boss MT-2 sitting on my desk as I type this. ❤ Back in the day it was my main go-to in the loop. ...and yes, I'm older than dirt.

mosky has alot of cool and cheap pedals, I have the super rat (rat clone with 3 modes) and the demon tubescreamer, sold my maxon OD9 because of it. . The Brown Distortion sounded disgusting, I like it. It's hard to justify spending over 200$ on a pedal when good sounding cheap stuff like this is available.

The EQ wave of boogers program seems useful.

Lacked gain to me but EQ-vice it is a hell of flexibility.

This pedal is a copy of a Wampler panicle and it does it very well for $59 .

I had just gotten the DUNN EFFECTS DEATH KNOB for $160...theyr kind of hard to get and I finally had th money to get it...and as my luck would have it..I don't have the right kind of setup or amp apparently to make it do a chainsaw to anything I own.i have several hm-2 clones but I was hoping soooo hard that this pedal would help me but it did nothing but enhance the mids...sane thing with my BALTIMORE RESEARCH INSTITUTE GRIND HM-2 E.Q. pedal I bought last year for $160...and it also does nothing to give me a chainsaw.onky accentuates th mids an makes pinch harmonics fly out if the guitar as soon as you can think of one in your head it pops out screaming like a zakk Wylde's bastard child's...lol. oops I rhymed.so now I'm going to have to go into reverb and sell both of these supposedly badass pedals and get a Left Hand Wrath and or the 8 ball e.q. or the fucking brick he has out now...omg if that didn't give me a gnarly and super badass hardcore chainsaw that's usable and not all crazy assed noisey like alot of my chainsaw sounds end up being, but I do have a few good tricks up my sleeve that I'm going to be posting a video of, or series of videos of my hm-2 clone collection and how I rig them up for my different sounds and how I incorporate a behringer noise reducer in it as well sometimes.not always.and I'm going to showcase my favorite Chinese clones of the hm-2 that nobody else has even tried to show even exist.so hopefully I'll be the first but I doubt it because some kid will read this post and order one as soon as they figure out which ones they are that is.ive already told you tho cuz I really think you would enjoy the fuck out if them and they are super cheap but not super cheap sounding because they are made a bit better as far as sound quality and noise level.one of them is made that way with extra options even.2 diff sounds w a switch for high and low gain which makes a great death metal chug mixed with another distortion of your chouce.your Fangs/Eyemasyer pedal review really inspired the shit outta me one day as well and I went and was able to find a used one for $40 shipped to my door.I love this fucking pedal.i have it and my EYEMASTER as permanent fixtures as of lately.hopefully I can inspire one person with my video but I just really want to show all you livers of the chainsaw what I'm dealing with and how it sounds.abd maybe can get some more ideas from people or something.idk but I hope it brings joy all the while dripping with death.crawling from beneath a burning pit of hellfire and brimstone. Ashe's of christian bones and lit by only the light from burning bibles.forcebly taken from good upstanding christians right before the shoot for ambience...prolly hear theyre cries in the background when I go to palm-mute a lick...lol.in between the pedals as well I'm sure...lol.sorry.that was just too much fun visualizing.i got lost for a minute in super sonic chainsaw of sickly savage soundbytes pedal land.and man does it fucking chainsaw there...it rains hm-2's. Sorry again.the force is strong today I take it...lol.take care and stay safe.
