I refuse to ride without my turtle. Clips in and forget it. No chance of forgetting to charge it, and psychologically it feels like clicking in a seat belt in a car. Only set it off once. Was like getting a bear hug. Forgot my keys in my pocket and that I'd already lifted my side stand, bike goes down, so do I. Rolled away 3 times away from the bike. Nice to know it works

As always nice chat. I have a couple of airbag vests. Helite turtle for the commute and Alpinstars race for the track. Well worth the investment. I was knocked off before I brought one and while in hospital ordered one. The helite only deployed that when I dropped the bike in the Alps simple to replace the canister a few quid. Alpinstars crashed on track and a costly recharge! Convinced most of my buddies to get one well worth the investment! Also armour in for me!

Brilliant kit. Their mesh summer jacket with built in airbag is excellent. Get one Bruce can’t beat it for summer

Great comment about the cool vest idea, though we spent an Italian heatwave over 37+ deg and my wife wore the Helite vented mesh jacket. She loves it and it covers all riding with the removable liner and if bad weather threw Oxford Rainseal jacket over. I've used an Eturtle for 4 years, lovely but of kit, never accidentally detonated. Thanks Helite.

Hi ya Bruce and absolutely loved this podcast and found the info and statistics on airbag vests very interesting. It was having my accident recently where I sustained chest/rib injuries that I made the purchase of the HELITE E Turtle. Never leave home now without it and agree with Peter in regard to buying the vest after purchasing a decent lid. Brilliant podcast mate 🙌🏻🤘🏻👌🏻

Very interesting to hear more about Helite from Peter. As a blood runner I like my H-MOOV Electronic so much I bought another for my biking son who is currently taking his IAM. I like the H-MOOV as it fits in my Givi Outback 58L top box. Expensive but what value your spine.

Great video. I have the e-turtle. Is it ok to ride on track? I went to Cadwell and decided not to use it as I didn't want it going off with the extra lean, but after listening to this I may use it this weekend at Mallory if it is ok to do so.

The nec and shows in the UK are too expensive now. Not just entry fee, parking, eating and no amazing deals from the stalls. Haven't been for a number of years and have no intention of returning
