They ran Him out of San Diego then he turned out to be one of the greatest of all time! Thanks, Bruce

Even as a kid listening to Padres broadcasts, when Bochy was still playing, everybody and their surfboard knew Bruce would go on to be a helluva manager. Everyone knew it. Then, of course, the San Diego Bozos let him go.....first to SF and now on to Canton.

I’ll miss you Bochy!!! As a lifelong Giants fan, you have given my family and I some of the best memories! My Grandpa getting to see them win their first title before he passed away a year later. This will always be my favorite era of the Giants with some my favorite players ever!! Tim Lincecum Madison Bumgarner Brandon Crawford buster Posey and more!!! I’ll always Feel privileged to be a Giants fan and I’ll always be proud of your accomplishments especially the three World Series Championships. I’ll re-read Your book “The Book of Walks” which was really inspiring to me. Thank you Bochy, you will be missed.

Thank you Bochy for being the ultimate professional on and off the field! Such a great person and he’ll be missed as a manager. I hope he continues attending games from time to time so he can stay relevant in the baseball community. I’m a Dodger fan but I wish that your leadership skills and humbleness was followed by EVERY team and all players in all sports! Gonna be weird on opening day next year when the Giants are playing and Bochy won’t be in the dugout anymore. Gonna be weird to watch the dodgers take on the giants without Bruce Bochy. As much as I hate to say it, you, the team and the city of San Fran deserve those 3 championships you brought and led they are all well deserved. We all love you in the baseball community! Well done and congrats on a well earned retirement Bochy 😊
