Thank you SO much for uploading this!! Bruce Campbell is my hero. We didn't start attending the Con until 2006 or I would have gone to see him talk. At least he got an hour, the Q&A I taped at the 2006 Con was only a half hour and wasn't nearly long enough.

The first spiderman movie Raimi did which Campbell also appeared in was NOT a sequel. It was the same type of movie Campbell is trashing here in this vid when he's talking about all the remakes of both comic books and older movies. That you cannot see this is not my fault.

we didn't know it but he was walking right in front of us and he turns around and joins in on our conversation. So there we were just walking down the street with bruce campbell talking about how they wanted to rate evil dead and all the problems. it was the greatest moment ever!

Everything Bruce said was truth especially the closing. I'm only 27 and I know that most movies from Hollywood are shit. There's nothing new coming out of there these days and this is why I haven't gone to a movie theater in at least 6 years. I'm just glad that Bruce is spreading the word........Hail to the king!

lol yeah actually i went to a premiere of "The Man with the sreaming brains" in Sacramento. After it was over my family and I wanted to leave and get away from the huge crowds and we were alone walking down the street in sac and i was talking about how awesome bruce is and about evil dead.

There will be no evil dead remake in the foreseeable future. The idea was shot around and Sam and Ted and Bruce decided against it. Sam wanted to retain creative control. They are now reportedly slowly writing a sequel script (most of it done in Sam's garage)

he is so right about B movies, everything that Holly wood puts out that deals with monsters psychos, aliens etc is nothing more than a polished B-movie. They are fun and can mean something more (Dark Knight), but at their core, B-movie I wonder if he has read the F vs J vs A comic, that would make a good, gory, fun, one liner spitting movie that would do good in the summer. I hope that the publishers of the comic gave him a copy at least.

Bruce's criticisms of Hollywood are getting harder to take nowadays when his own movies are bad too. Bubba Ho Tep was great, a perfect example of how to do an original film on scale, but since then he hasn't really done anything interesting imo. Can't believe he turned down Bubba Nosferatu because of 'script issues'. like his scripts are any better? seriously.
