Lauri Väisänen no she’s supposed to go insane. I’ve read all the books currently out and she will definitely go nuts. However I think George has a much different ending for a lot of the characters and for white walkers simply because there’s a lot of plot points and character developments that happened in the book that didn’t happen in the show.

Has Bruce read the books? Because the show writers literally copy and pasted the book to screen it wasn't that hard. Bruce gives them way to much credit almost like he is shilling or making excuse for their terrible writing. The show is unwatchable in their vision. Also they were let go from stat wars just when a big company let's a high exc off they say they resigned to save their reputation those two are ruined no one will hire those two tools "she kinda forget about the ships" fucking joke

None of yall said shit in S5 when Stannis burned his daughter and the whole show turned into an avengers movie where nobody died. Last 2 seasons were rushed but at least the ending was true to the series unlike S5-7. The author is only resentful towards the "cesspool of hate" as he calls it so it's really annoying to see all these video essays from people who never saw the show talking about how Dany was supposed to be Tony Stark when the insanity was obvious to me as a 15 year old on episode 4.

I have never seen someone be so wrong in my entire life. How can anyone think that GoT got better towards the end? Woody was 100% right, the writing went downhill as soon as the detailed source material ran out. Both GRRM and HBO wanted more seasons, we could have had a much more fleshed out ending with a lot more pay offs and properly paced plot-development, but instead they absolutely butchered one of the best shows ever made.

Why? Because D & D, the two lead writers on the show wanted to get out of their contractual obligations to finish the show, so they did a rush job. HBO gave them the green light on another 2 or 3 possible seasons and at least 12 more episodes per season with a large budget. They chose to decline this offer because they were being courted by Disney to do a new Star Wars movie that would give them more money in their contracts. It really irks me not because they were greedy, but because in the end, the deal fell through and they didn’t end up making the movie so they were able to only pull in a small amount of money because the contract failure wasn’t their fault. So they basically fucking destroyed game of thrones for a better paycheck that didn’t even materialize. Fucking sad, and irreparably damaging to their careers.

I binged the entire show over two weeks recently, hadn't seen it before and wanted to know what it was about. As someone who remained spoiler free and watched the show later when all the hype died down, Woody is right. The Final season was shit, season 7 had good stuff in it but overall it was the beginning of the end. I'm really happy I watched it, but season 8 ruined it. Dany and Jaime got their characters assassinated.

Bruh as soon as they ran out of source material they shit the bed and realized they needed Star Wars. They didn’t back out earlier because they still had source material. George didn’t tell them how it ends either, George asked them how they thought it would end and Dan and Dave answered and he allowed them to spin it that way. It’s not the ending bruh he hasn’t even written the other books. There’s lots more magic and shit that would change so much. Catalyn one of the biggest characters in the show until red wedding, becomes a white walker and they completely disregarded it because they decided that it wasn’t interesting. They suck. This guys take sucks. He says he’s done research but I feel like he read one blog. After criticism they got pressure from Disney and backed out but were basically fired it’s like a cop transferring department to save face. They are shit. The show was a success because of George RR Martin.
