Jaimie being branded Kingslayer early on in the show and then being the one to actually kill the NightKING is a MUCH better plot twist and "subvert expectation" then freaking Arya killing the Nightking...

I mean, Arya was trained as an assasin, she would be a good fit to kill him. I could see why it happened, BUT, the way we got there was so.... forced. And that ruined the whole thing. I don't really think anyone would have a problem with the ending if it was brought to us better.

GoT’s was the greatest show on earth until season 6.... and then the writers $HlT the bed. Then the last season just gave up entirely. So sad. If only they had hired Lucas Arts to come out of retirement and write season 6 to the end. Woulda been amazing

nah season 6 was great, battle of the bastards was by far the best battle in GOT, but 7 and 8 were horrific..

Idk if there's another comment about this but after quickly skimming I haven't seen any mentioning this. AltShiftX has a video about how, I believe in other parts of the world, how they have the same story of Azor Ahai but it's pronounced slightly differently, and that translation happens to be "Golden hand" And in general how fucking well Jamie lines up w the prophecy. How the tempering the blade on a lion and his lover part could be multiple in one if through Cersei's heart, also aligning w the Valonquar? Prophecy or whatever, and some other stuff I can't remember off the top off my head. Huge recommend. AltShiftX in general has amazing content. I was personally all in on that actually coming true and was not only surprised but disappointed it didn't.

I put no blame on D&D. They were hired to turn books into a tv show. They were doing an amazing job at it. Then people are mad that they were bad at writing the books and making it a show. That wasn’t their job. The blame all goes on GRRM. You can’t take blueprints from a home builder halfway through then be mad that he built a bad house
