Weakness in the US CONSTITUTION. and (b)The fact that the US electorate accept them. 2.Donald Trump is no "STANDARD"....so why Golding referenced him. Thwaites demonstrates this. The minister failed to see that, while she does not make legislative law in the public square, laws are enacted to benefit the people there. The minister also fails to recognize that elected politicians are only conduits for our democracy, whereas the people are the true foundation of democracy not the political representatives who are periodic in their representation. Demonstrated REAL LEADERSHIP when he refused to take a new vehicle for the office the PM.....it shows empathy and sacrifice in the national interest. 3.Demonstrated REAL LEADERSHIP when he reduced the salary of his MPs salary... while the country was experiencing economic difficulty!
