I have to give a lot of credit to Bruce here. From what I gather, Schultz roughed him up at one time during their Stampede days. Bruce gets a lot of heat in the business for going in on himself, but really, it was cutthroat, what else was he suppose to do. I actually enjoy hearing his perspective on things. I think he would have been a great booker as long as he wasn’t wrestling at the same time.

If I remember correctly, D was told by Vince to defend the business and keep the image before the interview.

If a reporter is coming in and trying to demean your line of business, would you let him? I bet my life that Vince told him to do it. He then got blacklisted. Dr D sounds like he gave the shirt off his back for several people, and they screwed him in the end. It sounds like he has Hogan under his wing. And typical Hogan, it was easy to cut him loose. I would love to hear a shoot interview with Linda Hogan about some of these stories. She would def be biased, but it would be an interesting take.
