So when one of the main cast leaves its not the same anymore. Eg Two and a half men. At least that's my pov. It's not like in your day to day job where another person can simply replace you or the work that you do. The "show" is still good but it's simply not the same anymore.

Generally those KZbinrs are work colleagues and not much more some have even left due to actual disputes or unfair treatment. There isn't a sense of commitment left after they're gone.
