Anyone with a good eye can see that there is something different (than offer JKD "instructors") about Sifu Jerry Poteet's teachings and instruction. Just imagine the privilege of being given the gift of: Feeling the difference instead of only seeing it, when your eyes may deceive, confuse or mislead you. There's nobody left like him.

Amazingly all of Bruce Lee's students turned out to be great masters with much humility. Its a reflection of what a great man Bruce was.

When you see these first generation students of Bruce Lee you can see what Lee was trying to convey about simplicity, not the complicated crap these new so called jkd instructors are doing today, that would get you killed in a real self defense situation.

At this point, I have to believe the BL original students from Seattle,Oakland & Chinatown may be the only ones left teaching what BL called his art. I can’t see why or how anyone can say he is teaching & doing JKD. Without an economical direct structure in expression and needing the support of an other dissimilar art to accomplish the intended goal within the encounter.
