Dan Lok Im a new seller and i made 2500$ this month just from online sales. I made few tricks by myself but this is very helpful. Tip no.1 never return a customer, if he ask about certain thing but u dont have it ( for ex. He is looking for trainers no 38 from certain model and he wanna buy it but u dont have it, you dont say i dont have it. You say that in this moment u cannot sell him those trainers but what u gonna do is u offer him other pairs from the same number and u gonna say, pick one. Since he was interested in buying the chances are 90% that he’s gonna buy it, and you’re not giving him an opportunity to say no ) Tip no.2 Never say no to a customer. If he wanna buy it for ex. jacket and he is asking u, do u have a jacket size M, and u dont have it in that moment, you never say no i dont. The first thing you need to do is to say that you are expecting more jackets and it will be his size for sure in a couple of days, you are hyping him, flaming him to be more curious about the new jackets that are expected, and u gonna say how a lot of customers asks for that size, so you are indirectly telling him to hurry up and order in the very first min. because he’s thinking that someone else might take his jacket. And the second thing to do is in those two or three days, you search everywhere for jackets size M for a cheap price. Three pairs for example, and you are sending him first the pictures to see. The next thing you’re gonna do is to tell him how he is the first one to see the jackets and that u havent sent them to anyone except him. And he is spoiled a little, and will be ashamed to say no because he thinks he is a priority so the chances are 90% that hes gonna buy two jackets, but 99% that he will buy that jacket he asked. Thank u

Dan I think you're videos are so cool and vital for preserving between the True old school of jkd lineage like Ted wong, Joe Lewis Jerry Poteet god bless them You and octavio are really keeping the art of jkd alive, please help me with this request: I want to know how octavio lands crosses and hooks while pivoting to the inside of an orthodox opponent I know octavio has previously said you cut the angle not just float around on a circle but please ask him to demo the way to land crosses and hooks and the variations of them such as over hand, cork screw and hooks going across with a side step and hooks Going in a pivot to the inside or even coming backwards and how to deal with return fire crosses and hooks of opponent as you are punching already If you could do this it would be great and could you add anything you learned from Ted wong on this matter and do you know the japanese guy called hiro watanabe any chance of asking him to do something on this he moves perfectly Cheers Dan!

The key to Jeet Kune Do's speed is seizing the opportunity as it presents itself. Octavio and Dan explained it well here. While other fighting methods teach you to manage distance first and then attack, JKD will teach you to manage distance WHILE you attack.

Dan I love all of your Jeet Kune Do videos I'm a big Jeet Kune Do martial artist I've been practicing for three years by myself everyday in my house and there's a lot of hidden things about Bruce Lee's Jeet Kune Do and there's a lot of things Bruce Lee didn't tell anyone. You have to figure out on your own and I figured out a lot I've been practicing everything he's done in every movie and I watched every single documentary and everything about Bruce Lee on the internet I already been practicing and I know the best martial arts stance of all time when you look on KZbin. Video with him sparring with his students that stands is the very best stance for One V ones you cannot do anything to the opponent that has that stance sorry this was a long one if you read it all I hope you did and keep making the Jeet Kune Do martial art videos thank you you been a great help to me

Been a year since you put up a JKD vid I hope you guys didn't abandon jkd. Some people have a guy sit on their chest and pound their head into the ground and then abandon JKD when it wasn't the problem. What works when you're on the ground and on your back is Jiu-Jitsu, judo, grappling arts, wrestling, if you don't have the basics of those your JKD is incomplete. Though trapping works especially well on the ground along with those arts

I think it’s Kung-Fu. It’s very hard to find a very good school for one because they are not popular even though it is probably one of the best martial arts out there. The reason it’s not popular is because it’s not just about fighting, but about focus, technique, discipline, and many other things. It takes several years to master compared to other martial arts in which you can learn quickly.

I love the videos but I don't know about this. Teaching forms is somewhat counter to Jeet Kun Do isn't it? In a panic situation people can't think. Most people aren't trained fighters, so all these ideas are great but they'll get thrown out the window the moment someone busts us in the lip (most frequently a jab to stun us -- but many will go for the hay maker). When I used to study a bit of Bruce's stuff, I think what I took away from it was that you have to do what comes naturally or do something so much that it becomes natural to you, don't THINK about how to do these things. In a situation where your adrenaline is pumping your brain is going to blank out. So either muscle memory will take over (you've done the 10,000 kicks the same way, they will come from you, not your mind) or you are so used to fighting that you can actually think about technique when you are in a confrontation. Ie. your mind is clear enough to look for the openings and when to retreat. Generally that's only going to be people who are constantly fighting (MMA, competitive fighters etc) and are used to dealing with adrenaline. Adrenaline is a mind fucker and it will betray any training you may receive. Again, Love the videos but just not sure about this. Seems we're having to think too much about what will happen and anticipating things that may never come. Ie. the openings and such. What was that saying he used to throw around "Be like water..." -- Flow with the opponent, don't think. But again, Bruce was very confident and was in fights a lot, I think he could apply these techniques. The average joe chump like me won't have a chance to apply them because we'll be busy getting our head punched in, let alone once things go to the ground, as they do, these techniques are going to go nowhere. :( Not trying to criticize Dan, I love the videos. Just again, I wonder how this could be applied in a panic for people who are NOT fighters.

I was wondering this. It seems he commits to moving forward and striking, but if the opponent blocks this strike he is open and off balance so what would his next move be? *shrugs* Someone in your type of fighting would probably back off and pop him with a kick to the head. :(
@blackken32116 жыл бұрын
Interesting, but the whole purpose of bridging the gap is to jam you from even kicking and put you off balance. This is also lead leg kicking not rear leg so it takes away time for execution and delivery. In what way would you suggest an easy knockout?
