I think most houses in the 70s and 80s had a Bruce Lee picture up Darko 🤩🤩 yeah Enter The Dragon related posters were probably the most picked up 🤔😁 I remember having a Frank Bruno one as well 🤩🤩👍👍

To good guys, that know what it`s all about, Stripey+ Mondo.. Thank you guys for all your fantastic reviews of The master Bruce Lee. My favorite Bruce movie is also The way of the Dragon, just got the golden harvest box set, and oooh my god, all those extras. Now the last fight with Chuck N, gets better and better every time, i see it, "soo intens, so real, so great. p.s my number 2 is Enter The Dragon. Best fight in my opinion,when he fight`s O`Harra.

Pretty sure the only thing you are loosing on this set is the 5:1 surround sound mixes which sound a bit over the top at times 🤔👍👍 apart from that, the Arrow set is an uptick on every level!! Hopefully it'll still be around for you then papa 🤞🤞😁😁👍👍

Great countdown John. Game of Dearh is one of those films that is so bad it’s good. Have you seen all of the footage Bruce shot for the film (about 40 mins) 😎 it was found by bey Logan in the Golden Harvest Vaults 😎

Big Bruce Lee fan since I was a kid watching the heavily censored UK versions on VHS. A friend of one of my older Brothers even had some 8mm reels showing clips and trailers of his movies which if I recall may have contained some of the censored scenes. Have and still own these movies on multiple formats including NTSC (uncut) VHS, NTSC and PAL DVD, and multiple Blu-ray releases. I've watched lots and lots of documentaries about Bruce Lee and aim to fill in the missing pieces as and when I am able to track the remaining ones down. Rewatched all of these movies on Blu-ray (Shout! Factory's Bruce Lee: Legendary Collection 2013) in 2019 then in 2020 watched all of the Special Features before listening to *9* of the 11 available audio comms across multiple formats and releases. 😎 Really looking forward to watching them all again once Arrow Video's Bruce Lee at Golden Harvest 4K UHD Blu-ray Boxset is released next month. That includes 7 (8 if you include Game of Death II) brand new audio commentaries. Can't wait to listen to all of those plus go through everything in the Special Features.

That's an amazing collection of Bruce Lee movies Cheekster 👏👏 it's unreal how many different ones have been available over the years....I was close to picking up the Criterion set...especially as GOD2 was on there, never thought anyone would top that set and was shocked and really happy when Arrow announced it 🤩🤩 I've listened to some Bey Logan commentaries and enjoyed them...I think I might give the commentaries a whirl on the Arrow set Cheekster 🤔 cheers again mate 🤩🤩👍👍

Bought every one of the Lee movies as they migrated to different formats, and I've never had the heart to get rid of any of them when I upgraded formats. Prized in my collection are the original pre-cert releases with their gorgeous artwork.

Yeah M12 I think every Bruce Lee fan has upgraded to the next format mate! I wish I had kept all mine mate 😔 those Pre-certs funnily enough are perhaps the best looking releases of the lot! Easily in my top 5 pre cert covers of all time mate 🤩🤩👍👍

@@MondoChelloveckMovies Yeah, I had the artwork blown up to poster size and I have them on my classroom wall (I teach film and media) along with repros of the UK posters for WOTD and ETD with the original X cert on them! Also got Bruce Lee pics and quotes around the classroom. When students ask me why we revise again and again I quote Bruce: "I don't fear the man who can do a thousand kicks once, but I do fear the man who can do one kick a thousand times"! I also laugh because when someone new comes in to my room, they look around and just drily deadpan "so you like Bruce Lee then?". Was going to go to Prince Charles cinema to see the new release of Big Boss but it's a long way away from me and they still don't have the saw in the head scene! I remember seeing the uncut nunchucks scene in FOF pre-cert as a teen and my cousin and I going out to the garden to make them ourselves using cut down broom handles, chains and nails. They were pretty good too! I guess we proved why James Ferman cut them out 😂

Wow that's such a great story mate 😁😁👍👍 I suspect we all had the same experience with his movies, seeing the heavily cut ones, then another uncut scene...and another until we probably have the fullest cuts with Arrow.......until the next find 😵‍💫🤩🤩 a mate of mine made the exact same ones!! Gotta thank Ferman for keeping nunchucks in the public consciousness! I have practice ones now.......stops me putting myself in hospital mate 🤕🤕🤣🤣 I bet your film class is a great one to attend 🤩🤩

i first seen bruce at a movie night at school in 73 , our film study teacher got his hands on a film print of enter the dragon , this got me into martial arts and me starting my martial arts club. bruce actually played the drums for the way of the dragon , at one point i owned the single , also owned the original posters from enter the dragon and way of the dragon , give them away to a neighbour many years ago along with many books and a full set of KFM magazines . great look at bruce's movies i was going to buy the box set from CEX i do own a German set but fancy a English set, i have ordered the new 4k box set and the new enter the dragon .

Hey John, did you know Bruce Lee made over 20 movies as a child in Hong Kong. I saw a clip many years ago in a documentary, he was arguing with an old Chinese man. Great box set, I think my favorite has to be Enter the Dragon followed by Fist of Fury.

It's the only one that's in colour and it was listed at number 52 in a list of the 100 Greatest Chinese Motion Pictures at the Hong Kong Film Awards in 2005. I bet a release of it would do well, as Bruce Lee seems to be more popular than ever.

I think I also saw in one of the docs where they interviewed Linda Lee Cadwell that Bruce Lee took her to see it at a cinema in China Town on one of their first dates without telling her he was in it. There are a few clips on KZbin, the most memorable one is of BL stealing a woman's bag and being chased down the street.

Its interresting to hear British People talk, i can understand when you speak english but the bruce lee fan in the beginning of the video i can understand more clearly but the movie Collector john is the easyest for me to understand, there are big differences in the accents, i think john is from London and is My absolute favorite reviewer of 4k discs.

WOTD, FOF, GOD and GOD2 for me. TBB is watchable enough though far from a classic but ETD is criminally overrated. Imo, Lee's nunchaku action in WOTD, FOF and GOD is superior to that in ETD. Keep an eye open for Lam Ching Ying, Jackie Chan, Yuen Kwai and Yuen Wah in FOF.😉
