Yea Vince didn’t do squat for Stone cold when Austin’s neck got broken. The talent is just that talent and are expendable for the most part. Businesses only care about their money and not the money and health of their employees. This is more engrained into the wrestling culture than other cultures or businesses. Just the unfortunate facts. The whole industry is rooted in unprofessionalism from the talent on up.

PLus he did Somas and they are a muscle relaxer narcotic that you can take a lot if you take them regularly. Wrestlers take them often. When immune you can drop 10 and still function and most people wouldn't notice but there is a cumulative effect that kicks in if you pop a couple after taking them earlier in the day. That cumulative effect can hit fast and hard and be over in 10 minutes, but for that 10 minutes you're lucky if you can stand or speak. This would account for them seeing him okay throughout the day, he probably was high but was still capable of control, then probably threw a couple more down his throat near match time and the dreaded Soma Coma hit.
