I was at the show, holy crap, Bruce blew the top off the building, almost four hours. When Bruce left the stage he looked so exhausted, he gave the crowd everything he had.

God damn I love this song. I wish I was at the show he played in my hometown that year. It was the first show he played Born In The USA and the first show of the tour to get a second encore. Bobby Jean was the song that he closed the show with and the only song in the second encore.

Bruce has a teleprompter but Eddie didn't have in his contacts to read the words. When he screwed up the first time he pointed to his eyes and Bruce nodded. And then forgot them. So funny. Two legends.

I'm just amazed you could say that. As someone who's spent nearly half of the last five years of my life at old folks homes (visiting), and lost at least 8 friends in the last five years, this concert was when I most felt alive. And yeah, I was there at the concert, the best four hours of my last five years, Bruce is transformative. Eddie was just holdin' on to the emotion! Bruce is as close as we can get here, to seeing the other side. And I am close enough right now, to be honest! I hope to stay here a while yet!
