They don’t rest on their Laurels because they are famous and soooooooooo! Talented. They play every concert like it’s their first, they take nothing for granted and to this day ,they are still having a ball up there. It's odd how our tastes change or expand. I am 50 as well, and I will admit I used to not like Springsteen. Then in 1995, when I was in some CD of the month club or whatever, his "Greatest Hits" was sent to me because I did not specify I didn't want it. I had planned to return it but forgot, and it sat on my shelf for almost 6 months, then I finally opened it up one night and put it on because I was tired of my same old CDs. By the time I hit "Secret Garden" I had gone through a metamorphosis of sorts. I was in love with the CD. I wore it out over the course of the next several years. My girlfriend took me to see him in August of 2002, on The Rising tour, and it was one of the best concerts I've ever seen.
