Burning scarecrow, what symbolism. Actually, this whole film is packed with it, for me ~ and I can recall my long life since my twenties in each wrinkle of Bruce's countenence - it's a noble face. It brings up memories of being younger and more innocent to the ways of the cold world we live in. With his music and poetry, we gauge our own lives by the images he brings us. Beautiful video. The cinematography reminded me very much of Terrence Malick. And yet another great song from High Hopes. I guess I shouldn't be surprised but it's turned out to be one of the best albums he's ever made. I had been expecting some sort of grab bag album. It's far more than that however.
