I wish I had this song back then when my mom died in 2019. But better I have it now then never. Thanks Bruce, and my condolences on the passing of your beautiful mom. Mom's are the best. You mom was almost 100 years old which is great. My mom was around 86 years old, and is great health, but still the Lord wanted her to be with him. I'm 56 years old and your fan since back in the times "Darkness on the edge of town" album. That one caught me in the jaw and laid me out with the sheer virtuosity of your voice and your lyrics. I was hooked. The came "Human touch" which was more subtle but with even more profound lyrics. I still have those on my playlist, and it will be there forever till I die. God bless you and give you a long life full of music, for I've got to hear it too..! And may the almighty give you peace and strength, though you are strong anyway, a mother's death is a low punch to the gut. I've known it, and still cannot come to grips. God bless you Bruce for keeping your congregation happy.

So very sad to see Jon post his stroke and ongoing medical issues BUT so beautiful that he’s there and overwhelmed by the bittersweet message in this beautiful song. When he walks out it’s almost like a “Yoda” death scene. Such a beautiful man Jon Landau is and riding my 40year plus residency with this wonderful band, it’s a celebration of love and art. Hey, just remember, we’re spiritual and having a human experience and not the other way around ❤️🙏🏼

I agree Patti is mixed down really low on the album release of I’ll See You in My Dreams, barely audible, compared to the film version here. It’s a shame, because I think she brings a tenderness to the song in the film version. Regardless, a terrific song to end an outstanding late-career Springsteen album.
