Holy Schnikie, that sucks. Saw Bruce in concert in Houston. 9 1/2 years later, I guess wifey and I couldn't make it work either. 20 some odd years later, I still dream about her every night.

Bruce Springsteen and this song remind me of my friend at Glou Cath, John Griffitth. He loved Bruce. He got me into Bruce for awhile and then Bruce put to much politics into his music. And the fact that Chris Christie loved Bruce completely made me dislike him.

Bruce's values have never changed. Most of us become who we are, politically, and in every other way, when in our 20s, if not sooner. Bruce started out with nothing, heck, less than nothing. It took 20 years of struggle for him to become rich and famous in the mid-1980s, when the album, "Born in the USA," sold 30 million copies and the accompanying tour sold-out stadiums all over the world. Bruce has a deep blue collar that reaches to his soul. His music has always been about the little guy, the underdog, the least of his brothers and sisters. That's where he came from; that's who he is; that's who he'll always be. If you don't like him or his music, which are inseparable, I'm sure he'll miss you. Allow me to suggest that you give, oh, ..., Ted Nugent a try.

@@CPSJSMSUUMUGA Back in the 80's Bruce wasn't as political as much as he is now. When he was the "little" guy he was just like everyone else...a hard working person who kept his political opinions to himself. Now with his stardom and fame I guess he can think it is ok to talk politics and about the police. How much is BLM supporting him and his music? NONE......When the Dixie Chicks talked bad about George Bush, their career was cut short. Why? So Bruce can push his bullshit political agenda (Democrat)but the Dixie Chicks cannot? But I get this song, 1 step forward and 2 steps back. Anyone who has ever earned anything, including Bruce Springsteen, knows no matter which political party you subscribe to this is how it is in the world. But, lets keep politics to ourselves. Bon Jovi and Kid Rock as well.
