Was at this concert with my daughter..having attended the one in Coventry a couple days earlier. Inbetween Muhammad Ali had died...hence Bruce s comment float like a butterfly sting like a bee in the intro. It s now 2023 and have just seen him 4 times on current tour. Fan since 1980...wish he could live for ever...he just lifts my spirits every time

I was at this show and for me this was the highlight. It has always been one of my favourite Bruce songs and I don't think I'd heard it live since the Tunnel Of Love tour in 1988. As I remember it, there was a tear in Patti's eye at the end of the song, well there certainly was in mine.

Although I do appreciate the videos others create, even writing the set list, or taking still pictures, destroys the sublime experience of sharing the same time & space with Bruce Springsteen (which, beginning in 1978, I've now done on 64 occasions). Years ago, someone passed a joint and although I rarely partake I thoughtlessly took a hit. I immediately became self-conscience, which ruined "the moment." Being completely engrossed in that moment is everything. In fact, that's what makes Bruce the greatest performer since the invention of amplification. He isn't merely going through the motions; he's also in the moment. For me, sharing that three hour moment with him is one of life's grandest experiences.
