This is sad! There's nothing as bad as watching someone you know & love deteriorate right in front of your very eyes & theres nothing you can do to make it better. It's soul destroying! I feel for Bruce & his family.

There is Nothing if you can do ,that is not Right so, then with the Yamanaka Factors can we make there what better. The Problem is Nobody or the State will him or so a Person give that as a Option . The People likes not to give the People so a Chance with more speed or so easy , if so a Person how Bruce that so will. The People likes more to see a Stupid and then a Death Bruce , how I can that so see. I think ,if so a Person that will ,then can we give him that and that Topic makes it Visible, that we here can find what, that can help him.

I have experienced this with my grandmother. I lost her three years before she died. She was still physically around, but she wasn’t the same person anymore. It was devastating for my mother as her mother didn’t even know who she was anymore.

I met Bruce back in early 2000. I didn’t even know who he was, but he was fishing in an area and the storm came on. He came into our little village and I saw him sitting looking pale and I went and asked him if he needed a drink so I got him water and coffee. After I walked away, someone told me it was Bruce Willis. Very nice man and very polite

Me too, he is a really nice guy. I was in the market looking for a specific chocolate for my mom for her birthday when I noticed a person had picked the last one and was going away with it. I decided to give it a try and went to ask the person for it. I said something like "hey, can I have this chocolate bar, please?", and when the person turned back to look at me it was Bruce. Freaking Bruce. I was shocked, but pretended I didn't knew him so he wouldn't feel uncomfortable. He asked me why I needed it and I explained everything, and as soon as I mentioned my mom, he instantly gave me the chocolate and said: "Ah yes, family is for life. No matter what people tell you, never turn back on your family. I wish there were more youngsters like you in the world." I never forgot his wise words. I'm grateful for what he said because I was going through a lot during those times.

God bless ya Bruce! I was just diagnosed fall of 2022 with FTD inherited from my mom's side of the family. Mom is 87 and first noticed changes at 70 with her thought processing, her brother is 92 and was just diagnosed, and I am 65. Their granddad lived until 99 with the disease. I am now taking 10mg dose of donepril (Aricept) every night. Also, I take 60 mg of Gingko Biloba every morning. It has been a tremendous boost. Let's keep going as long as we can!

Man this sucks to hear. I'm 61 and have been dealing with chronic pain for years. I'd rather have that, lose my mobility, sense of sight or smell, then lose my intellect. Thankfully, it is not in my family, but I saw my step-grandfather go through Alzheimer's at a relatively young age and it was awful. He had been a brilliant, sharp-witted guy who by the time he was 70's was reduced to baby-talk. Bruce is only 67 and also a brilliant sharp-witted guy. We've seen it for years. What a gut punch. At least he is blessed by a loving family and still-loving ex-wife. God bless all of them.

@user-sn7pn1me8lYou don’t have to be 60 or 70 to develop dementia. I mean, it commonly effects those over 65+ but Dementia has been on the rise for young adults as well. One of my youngest dementia patients was a 40 year old male and in his case, alcohol played a contributing factor. He didn’t last 2 years.

I just turned 36 myself and now that I’m that age, I’ve realized that once you get to a certain age you don’t wanna have anymore birthdays and you don’t wanna get any older than you already have and that it really does suck to say your age when you get to be in your 30s… it’s completely painful saying your age when someone asks it when you get to be in your 30s so imagine how much worse that’s gonna get when you get even older 😳 I’m scared to death

October 30 2016 my mom died fr Alzheimer's. Dementia is only the beginning. I lost her early morning right before my eyes. I say I, Because I had 2 sister's that did nothing to help. I'm just happy to see his family by his side. You should never do this alone. It messes you up real bad physically and emotionally.. So deeply saddened by the news. . I pray for a cure for this horrible disease. 😢 God bless you all who take care of a mom or dad that took care of you when you was a baby til You grew up. One mother or dad can take care of 10 kids but ten kids can't take care of one mother. Very few people step up and care..

My heart goes out to Bruce and his family. I looked after someone with frontotemporal dementia for the last 7 years of his life, he had passed away on Valentine's day this year so very recently. They will get verbally aggressive, some days you get the person you know and love, other times you get a stranger. It doesn't get easy and in a way, you mourn over the patient for years as they waste away mentally.

Yeah, dementia is really hard that way. My Grandma lived with us when she had Alzheimer's, and it was so weird to miss her and grieve her when she's standing right in front of you. There wasn't a clear line when she was gone like there is with death. It was a gradual fading where she was gone even though she hadn't died. Anyway. I'm sorry you went through something similar with FTD.

I'll always love you, Bruce... you were always one of my favorite actors growing up. 34 years old here, and I've grown up watching it all. God bless, and may you find peace soon. Where would the world be without John McClain and Armageddon? ❤

Wow his bio says he’s 67. I’m fairly certain I saw an interview with him just 2 years ago and he seemed perfectly fine. I have NEVER seen anyone go from seemingly fine to dementia in just 2 years that was under the age of 70. This is just sad.

@@rcg1111 What “experiment”? I’m apprehensive to ask because you maybe a internet weirdo because your response is seemingly out of contest with this thread unless there’s a glitch and I’m missing some others comments.

Jesus man when i found out about a year ago it had me sad like he was a friend of minds, me being 38 i came up on so many classics thanx to this guy from Die Hard to Pulp Fiction to especially The Fifth Element & Die Hard With A Vengeance, even the lesser known and liked movies like Mercury Rising, The Siege, The Last Boy Scout & The Jackal i still love or mostly like because of this man, hes one of those rare actors/actresses that i dont care how bad the role or movie is, i love this guy in everything, my grandmother on my dads side passed away from Dementia in January 2017 and me being well read and self educated i knew she had it before the doctors even told us, i asked them and 7 weeks later the doctors told us and seeing her like that knowing there was nothing I could do was no doubt one of the hardest parts of my life, hopefully things arent as grim for Bruce and his family, i wonder now if he knew his time was running out when he did all those movies that were pretty bad in those last few years before he was diagnosed but i hope he knows he's done more than enough to be remembered as one of the greats and in my eyes he has nothing left to prove, its a trip here in July 2024 thinking of his birthday a few months ago and how his family were feeling it could be his last and then thinking of his age i mean 69(or technically maybe 65 since his health faltered) is much longer than many in the world live but it feels young in Bruce's case, i hope he's at the very least not in pain, i was watching Die Hard 2 and i had to pause it to come drop another line for my man, thanx for all the amazing memories bruh from Zed's Dead to Leeloo(& Korbin)Dallas Multipass u always going to be on my short list of Greatest of all Time
