FINAL BUILD VIDEO IN THE SERIES! 👍😀 4th part of 5th (and final) build video.
As a rough guide, the total cost of the conversion including the original toy & accessories, the RC, battery & all the components that I had to buy was around £170. Build time maybe 15 - 20 hours.

Printing instructions: all but the ram cylinder can be printed together - using ‘support everywhere’. The cylinder must not have any supports in the print file. I just used a ‘brim’ & 100% infill. I printed one set in PLA+ and the other in PETG. The cost for me to provide a full set of PETG 3D parts would be £40 GBP (plus tracked world-wide postage) - please email me on RCmodders@icloud.com if you would like me to do this for you.
Here is a list of many the tools/parts that I used for the conversion I have included affiliate links - as this may be a way to help me fund future builds on the channel:

RC used (I used Turnigy i6s from Hobbyking, I believe that the Flysky i6s is basically the same product but with later firmware) Amazon links: US: amzn.to/2PFI0KN UK link: amzn.to/2J6T4PO

3D printer used for the prototype: MP Delta US Link: UK link: amzn.to/2TdcdWo
PLA+ 3D filament used in the prototype: UK link: amzn.to/2DUdB71
Printer used for the build (for Aaron at RC Sparks) : Prusa I3 Mk3: shop.prusa3d.c...
PETG used in the build : (most similar) US Link: amzn.to/2PIRkxj

This is the soldering station I used: US link: amzn.to/2GQrAeu
UK link: amzn.to/2VAr6mj
Small 20A ESC’s (2 needed - one for driving along, the other to power the telescopic arm): US link: amzn.to/2DIisaZ
UK link: amzn.to/2IUH9Fu
100 rpm 6v N20 drive motors (4 needed) : (similar) US link: amzn.to/2Lfo7vu
UK link (avoid cheap ones): amzn.to/2ZQGYAk
200 rpm 6v N20 telescopic cylinder motor (similar) US link: amzn.to/2V9aEKq

Z-bender pliers that I always use for connecting rods : ebay.to/2SCPCh6
These would also be fine: US link: amzn.to/2ZPEO3R
UK link: amzn.to/2JhtGHp
Mini servos (2 needed - 1 for steering, 1 for bucket): hobbyking.com/...
20kg servo to lift telescopic arm (whatever you do, make sure servo does not bind at either end of travel as it will fry the ESC) : US link: amzn.to/2DES01V
UK link: amzn.to/2Ja15DA Ebay link: ebay.to/2GUdKu9
LiFe battery used (any 2s lipo less than or equal to 55x17x30mm should be OK, limit travel on throttle and ram motor esc on TX if using 7.2v instead of the 6.6v LiFe) : bit.ly/2VwZWcf (from Component Shop in the UK - good capacity & fits well). UK amazon link: amzn.to/2VMoHFj
Lead screw rod (make sure not to but hardened rods as you won’t be able to drill them): ebay.to/2GWjGTq
Servo extension lead (for bucket servo) - I just used the ones that come RC lighting sets. If using a normal extension lead, around 300mm / 12 inches would be fine.
I used a few bolts from this set: US link: amzn.to/2GYcPrn
UK link: amzn.to/2VJ4aRC Plus various longer sizes including a couple of countersunk bolts as detailed in the videos.
Very thin (approx. 1mm outer diameter) silicon wire to run from motors to ESC’s from Component Shop in the UK (they are always really helpful &b knowledgeable) : www.components...
Excellent resource to gain and share knowledge of the Bruder conversions can be found here : www.facebook.c... (this is a ‘closed’ Face Book group, so don’t forget to answer the 3 questions - designed to weed out robots - if you want to join).
