Very well done Neil. So you do use a printer as well you have your own? and a mini layth or something? I have been replacing burnt out lights in both my skid steer and 236b. Also this evening I added micro hex bolts to the tops of my D5 so there is not any slippage...This roller is on my radar to build. But some time ago I did design a sheeps foot that is weighted pretty heavily for the d5..I must say I like the agilitly of this machine and the options of compactor or roller..How often to you get burnt out lights?

Hi Buddy yes I have a small printer I use a mini delta which just about covers my needs for the builds, I work in engineering training so have good access to equipment such as lathes etc. I haven’t experienced any lighting failures as of yet, the lighting units I use a very cheap and stable they put out a 3v supply so I use and wire my own 3mm 3v Ultra-bright LED bulbs, the light unit has to be connected in a certain way to achieve the light set up I use ,in standard form the light pattern isn’t that great, I always put a resistor in line with the red LEDs as these run slightly lower voltage and prone to blow without a resistor plus it dims them slightly to a more realistic brilliance I use a 220 ohm resistor, pleased you like the build your going to love the grader that’s the next video that’s coming soon thanks for watching and commenting and for your help with my questions
