Hi Lars no actuators as such, the bin push back uses an N20 M4 threaded motor which is 300 rpm, the bin arm pivot is done using a 25Kg servo Thanks for the question :)

are tractors more commonly used in england than dump trucks?

Hi Nick i would say we tend to use the tractors purely or mainly for agricultural purposes, the tippers tend to be more orientated towards construction whether its site preparation in the removal of materials or road work projects etc i wouldn’t say one is more common than the other they are just used in very different roles

Hi Thank you, this was done using a 25kg 180 degree servo mounted into the chassis of the trailer , the pivot point of the arm was aligned centrally with the servo horn and it is bolted through, the bin push back was done using a N20 300 rpm m3 threaded motor fitted into the arm Hope this helps
