@rickdhansen ullmark isn't playing well in ottawa and he keeps getting hurt. Korpisalo has been the best out of the three goalies so we didn't exactly lose out. Ullmark has already missed games because of injury. The senators aren't any better than they were last year without him. I think this is all on swayman. He might be toxic in the locker room.

@justindelmonaco6835 yeah ullmark is 4-4-1 with an 890. Korpisalo is 3-2-1 with a 901. Both have one shutout and ullmark has missed 3 games because of a strain. Bruins did just fine on that trade. I do wish we would've traded swayman though. We would've gotten way more and bussi can back up ullmark. Ullmark is not making them any better as a team. But kastelic is a gem. He's gonna play the best hockey of his life in the bruins system.

After several years of winning lots of regular season games, the core of the club has gotten fat, lackadaisical and lethargic in terms of not going balls out for what it takes to win. They've had hot starts to seasons even when not at their best. Now, those poor habits have become entrenched in their mentality. So now, they don't have to work hard to win crucial puck battles or stop over passing because they think they need to paint a Piccasso of a goal instead of crashing the other crease and making that goaltender's night miserable. Now things aren't going their way. They have some adversity and they can't handle it or figure out how to get out of it. Today's loss was a curious one. It looked like the Bruins were playing a zone defense like what's done in the NFL and NBA. Instead of forcing the Blues to make quick decisions by cutting down their time and space, the B's collapsed towards the middle area of their own defensive zone allowing St.Louis a lot of room to manouver and set themselves up. No pressure on the puck carrier. As head coach, I assume Montgomery signs off on all schemes. Jaffe said that mindset comes from a club that lacks confidence in itself. Keep backing up to keep the play in front so nothing gets behind them. They have a big team, right? Backing off negates laying on the body. The Bruins are playing like they're under a cloud of impending doom. It looks like no one wants to make a mistake that triggers a calamity ending up in their net. The speed shown in tonight's Leafs/Oilers game was three gears higher than what the Bruins have been able to generate for most of their games so far. Some consistent effort from the B's like what Edmonton and Toronto gave in their game would be a start.

I don’t think it’s panic mode but it’s getting there. The biggest problem with the Bruins is they don’t seem they don’t want to push the pace and if you look at the shots on goal. It favors the blues and you won’t win a lot of games if you’re getting out shot and that also includes Quality shots. The defense just doesn’t seem to be as strong as 2022 bruins. They are in a tough position because they should be a playoff contender but they are in win now to win the cup because no team isn’t going to be able to compete for this long. There’s too many young players that should be developing and the veterans on this roster need to step up quickly. 8-8 isn’t horrible but if this roster can’t get this together. It could be a long summer. Marchand isn’t getting any younger and Pastnak isn’t going anywhere and if this team has no plans on drafting players then picking up college players. The present looks okay but the future looks very concerning.

This team really misses Debrusk. I know he was erratic as hell but besides Pastrnak, he was really the only forward that had a legitimate scoring shot. All the other forwards on this team are all arms and legs. None of them seem like a scoring threat when they have the puck on their stick. They have one superstar, one gamer who may be past his prime (Marchand) and a bunch of guys who are just that, a bunch of guys. Even due to his being inconsistent, I would take Debrusk over pretty much every forward on this team not named Pastrnak. I know he wouldn't be the total answer. The team has lots of problems. But the Bruins are starting to remind me of the Patriots. Severe lack of talent in too many spots.

Zdorov should go to Providence and then be traded. Get the cap money back as soon as possible. He suck’s. Cannot skate, barely able to make a pass, won’t hit the way a guy like that should. If you can’t skate at least hit…, and he looked like he was going to cry during his one fight. He needs to go and E. Lindy looks barely passable. Oesterle has already shown to be twice as fast, a better skater in every way and more dangerous offensively as a defensive player. Once step in the right direction. Stabilize the lines and let them develop some chem. Put Pasta and Marchi back together with someone that can really play the bumper position. It does not seem that E. Lindholm can… Skate Mason as much as possible… he plays better offense than most of the forwards and does it with style and affect. It’s all gone from something exciting to anticipate, to one lack luster performance. They should have the talent to play better. If you beat the other team to the puck, you will win the game. Skate and hit you guys!

I agree total bullshit!!!! The Bruins over the last few year were known as a third period team. They were never out of a game and they would grind their opponents into the ice during 3 rd periods. That tells me that they are spent before the third period begins. Time to spend more time on conditioning and more specifically, SKATING. Do they have a skating coach? They can’t skate if they’re not in shape! After practice skates for a constant 20 minutes. No days off until they show improvement. They lack the leadership needed when the lost Bergeron. I love Brad Marchand as a player but not as a Captain. Finally we should be getting real close to handing Monty his pink slip and seeing how that plays out. It may also be very close to saying “it’s been nice- BUT not that nice” to Sweeney and Neely.

The irony is NESN posted a video today about how Cam Neely is the "Blueprint of Today's Power Forward" (which he clearly isn't) and then seeing how miserably we played in every stat column including hits. Sweeney needs to go but we've idolized Cam so much and they're such good friends one isn't going without the other and I don't see Charlie Jacobs firing Cam. Monty is a whole different story. Sweeney is such a pansy I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't have the balls to fire him and just let Monty take the fall for everything at the end of the season to save his own job/reputation. There's clearly negativity somewhere that's bleeding onto the ice keeping them from executing and that source hasn't been removed yet.
