Blame it on management, blame it on players simply not performing, blame it on coaching, but it has nothing to do with the fact that those two are older.

@@preppen78 At least the Raptors know they're not good and are rebuilding although a lot of their games have been fun to watch given how close they have been in so many of those games so far this NBA-NHL regular season. That said, whether the Pens deserve to be last in The Hockey Guy's latest power rankings video, there's no doubt where I would put the Raptors among NBA teams: 30th out of 30.

@@gamingintrospection Yea, I know. It's more about the inevitability of Pittsburgh going from Lemieux, to Crosby, to McKenna (no pressure) than anything else. If they manage to get Hagens in the 2025 draft, they may end up with a similar 1-2 punch for another two decades.

Always look forward to these! I would’ve had my Kraken sniffing the top half of the row if it were me. Winning four in a row is no small feat with our opponents steadily getting stronger. Beating the Isles was a testament of this teams’ resolve and depth especially with Eberle out.

Rough last couple games for the jets but I was kind of expecting to lose those ones. Tampa had 6 days to rest on us, and Florida just came off a 2 game losing streak so I was expecting them to be hungry. I believe the jets will be able to answer on Monday and hopefully keep the ball rolling.

Besides a couple lineup moves, Green has done phenomenal. Some of these players aren't stepping up when they need to. The effort they're putting out there makes you think they're an 11 or 12 win team (seriously they should have more wins than they have if you watch this team), but a combination of inconsistent goaltending and lack of finishing will bite us in the ass.

I came here to confirm the bottom row of teams in this week's power rankings and they're pretty much justified. We are barely at the 20-game mark of the season for all teams and five of them - Pittsburgh, Montreal, Chicago, Nashville, and San Jose - have already suffered 10 or more regulation losses each. I have always felt that the bubble for regulation losses during the course of a season, for any team intending to make the playoffs, should be 30. This is why I believe these five teams are the ones making the early bid for the draft lottery.

FL Panthers Fan here. Cats did not play nor look like they played all season in both NJD games as I watch every game. Can't put a finger on why. But I was at last night's game where I expected them to play All out and they did shut or perhaps SHOT Down the Jets 5-0. They looked like they played Playoff Hockey last night where they played with NO enthusiasm against NJD. If anyone played hockey in their young lives you can totally relate that it's tough playing 82 games without fatigue or injuries where especially injuries could cost your team a playoff high spot or possibly missing the playoffs if it's your best player. So it's expected for any team to have slow stats AKA, Edmonton, Dallas and a couple of others. The most important issue is NOT how you start the Season but HOW YOU FINISH THE SEASON!!!

As a Blues fan since 1968, I’d LOVE to see that scenario. However, I wouldn’t wager any money on it. The Blues just aren’t good enough to even make the playoffs, much less go very deep into them. During our epic Stanley Cup season where we were in last place on 1/1/19, we had the talent, but were underperforming until Berube and Binnington took effect. The current Blues simply aren’t talented enough and are too small and too soft.

Next week playing the Stars, Rangers, and Panthers twice absolutely could be a 4 game losing streak but I think a lose to the Flyers or Blue Jackets would also be needed to get the Canes to the second row.
