Amazing, good to know! I live in Ontario but make frequent visits to Quebec for an alternative variety of whiskies that the LCBO doesn't carry.

Just checked - more 10 Year Old (as opposed to PC10 cask strength ltd edition) is on its way to Canada as we speak. Some is on its way to Ontario - should be there in July. Some went to Alberta and BC at the end of last year and a small amount in Quebec arriving around now... but only small numbers so it can be hard to track down! Good luck.

One of the major grocers (that's a major walmart competitor)here in the United States now carries Bruichladdich! Even though it's only the classic, I am excited! I wish America was able to get the more rare ones such as the organics or infinitys. Maybe one day.

Thank you, yes indeed my wallet is well aware of the unjust taxation on liquor especially in Ontario. Hence, I wait for family to travel to the UK. The new standard bottling of 10 year was on my list for some family that is traveling this summer to the UK!

It's all well and good to go on about bringing it back to an earlier time and all the "back to basics stuff" but then you go and sell it to a big multinational corporation. Which is how it all went to hell in the first place. So much for carrying on the traditions of a small independent distillery
